I enjoy playing with many legendary characters, landmarks and 2x skill points, but I try to avoid roster bloat. This collection is primarily for my own convenience so that I can track my mod loadout. It will be kept up-to-date whenever SFO is updated, as long as I have time to play Warhammer. The vast majority of mods are QOL or small tweaks/bugfixes.

The list is intended to be installed together and playable without any tweaks. I will make an effort to provide a patch if it is necessary for the list to run and I will list the non-critical edits I personally make. If you do not have modding knowledge, you might not be able to make those adjustments but the list should still be playable. I hope my mod choices will inspire your own mod collections.

Please check the "Technical Recommendations" discussions post for more info and feel free to ask questions about the collection. I am happy to help even if it's a trivial crash.

I do not play realms of chaos so I have no clue if this list works with that. I heavily avoid any non-SFO balanced units as those will weaken the AIs armies. Sarvente's Ministry of Internal Security is the only exception as they are quite powerful.

Suggested MCT Settings
1. Confederation includes treasury: Set Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords, Interaction Mode to disabled.
2. Less Red More Art: Disable main menu backgrounds or lord selection won't have sound.
3. Never Obsolete Lords and Heroes: Level cap to 60.
I play without endgame crises because I feel they disrupt the flow of the campaign too much.
4. I have added a crazy amount of sea lane mods and also an increased army movement on the sea mod. I don't think it's op because it's usually better to focus your armies on nearby enemies. However, it incentivizes me to do fun things like go help my ally across the world or go hunting for Chaos treasures.

"Disruptive" mods
1. Living World: moves a lot of faction starts, you may want to remove it if you prefer vanilla but it greatly improves my campaigns.
2. Community Bug Fix Mod: It needs a submod to not get overwritten but it shouldn't overwrite anything else either and some bugfixes are better than none IMO. I've gone through the packfile and there is only one issue. Huntsmen generals second unique skill will downgrade your archers.
3. Legendary Lords of Legendary Mastery SFO makes magic lords much stronger by giving them access to a lot more lore. It also makes the skill tree really cluttered with Expanded Lord Skills, but as far as I can tell there are no gameplay impacting compatibility issues it just looks cluttered.
4. Land Encounters and Points of Interest: The mod author returned and updated this recently. Supposedly it doesn't work with SFO or landmark mods but I've been using it and haven't seen any issues yet.

Bugs and fixes
All Diplomatic Options - Vassalize, Liberate, Confederate [Patch 4.0] currently causes three empty factions to appear in the immortal empires faction selection screen because of how they implemented cross mod compatibility. As far as I know, there is no gameplay effect so just ignore them.

If you get a random end turn crash: reload back to your last end turn autosave, and then do a little movement action with an army. This causes some changes in what each faction will do during the end turn, thus possibly preventing the behavior that causes the crash.
PJ Console can be used to add movement if needed. Advice thanks to Mr. Princess.

Personal Edits
You should move Skarbrand Retexture reskin packfile and Barnak's Kairos Reskin, Skarbrand.pack and barnak_wh3_graphical_kairos.pack to a load order higher than the gunking mods or rename it to !!Skarbrand.pack and !!barnak_wh3_graphical_kairos.pack or else Grimdark Demons will make them really unsaturated.

Wolfy SFO submod, there are 2 or 3 units that get added. Might upload if they give permission. The one on their github is a bit outdated.

I use an edit of Zach's Light Difficulty Mod, makes game harder. My edit removes the ai changes which are incompatible with Deep War AI and re-enables stalk stance. If you want to use this mod you should disable Deep War or Malus will get stuck.
He recommends the Hecleas AI Overhaul but it's not actually required, I prefer Deepwar AI especially with SFO because there have been multiple cases of Hecleas AI causing SFO AI to freeze.

Very WIP CBFM patch, currently it's just a huntsman fix. Don't think this will ever get far enough to be uploaded.
