Also I noticed that lords get more traits on the character select screen, both faction effects and lord effects - what mod is doing that? I want to add it to my modlist

I'm also going to try and make a "lite" version of the collection that cuts a lot of the mods with the goal of multiplayer compatibility.

Keep crashing as soon the game launches, is it because some mods aren't updated to newer version yet? I tried roll backing to the last update but same thing happened

Yep, modpack seems unstable now for some reason, getting crashes, and source seems random at this point, so I'm sure some mods updated.

Thanks a lot for sharing this collection, it is a joy to play so far. Unfortunately I've ran into persistent crashes after turn 40 across two campaigns now. The crash occurs after all the AI factions have taken their turn and the player's turn should start again. The land encounters and camp mods were disabled in the second campaign as I thought these were the source of the crashes in the first one... Anyone have an idea what could cause it?

Also @Revenant, that would be "Gain access to faction exclusive units, items, and traits via buttons", you can disable the buttons in the campaign through the mod configuration in the top left.

I started a skaven Clan Moulder game and I saw there was this massive bar across the top of the screen with a bunch of icons for cheats I presume? like adding banners and rewards for killing LLords and its bleeding over the map and the faction mechanics, which mod can i disable to get rid of this or is there an option somewhere?

Did as you suggested and next turn another unknown faction spawned and did the same thing.

Going to disable that mod for now and many of the encounters are kinda mid anyway

Almost definitely from the Chinese land encounters mod mentioned in the "Disruptive mods" section. You can fix it by using the console to turn off fog of war and kill the camp causing the crash before ending your turn.

I just wanted to point out, I'm getting a very consistent crash no mater what race Play when the Churning? gulf Raiders Dread Fleet Faction goes on its turn after about 30 turns.

I can't think bout ht mod might be responsible, it is normally when there are about 160 factions left and it's the 2nd to last to go

You should right click the load order in WMM to reset it to the default. You don't want to rely on the load order from discussions. WMM commonly messes up load order for newly subscribed mods. If that doesn't fix it then I don't know, sorry. Last I checked a few days ago I didn't experience any crashes like that.

As you have noted, Land Encounters and Points of Interest sometimes crash my game whenever I try to move to an event location.

Hmm, that shouldn't cause a crash when opening lord skills. I tested recently with Skaven lords and Karl Franz and didn't get any crashes.

@HK in my experience crashes like that are either caused by missing mods or bad load order. Are you sure you're using the default load order? Make sure to right click the load order to reset it before saving the list or it'll load the wrong load order every time you start.

All the Chaos Dwarf lords, a few Skaven lords and Karl Franz. Doesn't seem to be limited to just one or two unfortunately @think critically

caused most likely by expanded lord skills or expanded hero skills mods, only two mods that got changed since i last posted

I keep crashing everytime I right click on a lord to increase their skills. Does anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

For anyone reading this, just a quick notice, collection seems to be working fine after the last hotfix, i presume everyone is waiting for the mods to update to rebuild/ update their own mods, but ill be really looking forward to the future updates and additions you have planned for us @Think Critically

I figured it out I think. The Rune Golem sfo submod by Jack is now dependent on the 4.0 fix he uploaded. You have to remove the original mod. I will update the list and changelog but the import won't be fixed until later today.

The Greater Chaos Spawn SFO submod by ricketybob was causing the crash. Idk why it was working for me before. I believe he needs to use the dependency manager as he intentionally has conflicting files with the original mod.

Yeah I'm trying to work out why I'm still getting a crash as well, I've cleaned my mod folder, resubbed, still getting the issue. Trying to troubleshoot now. Haven't found the culprit(s) yet beyond what others have mentioned.
