Description
Modified Mindthief cards as per Gloomhaven class rebalance daily discussion. Some ideas were my own but they drew inspiration from this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/Gloomhaven/comments/bvwawm/strategy_sundays_daily_strategy_discussion/?st=jxdc39ni&sh=b2e28235) Ok, that's a lie, I actually almost rebuilt the class entirely. It would be easier to list the cards I didn't modify.

The Mind's Weakness is gone, that ♥♥♥♥ was so OP. Hopefully the changes will force switching between Augments a bit more, especially considering almost all the XP generation is on them now.

All 17 classes are now released!

The following cards were modified:
Submissive Affliction: top att 2 to 3, neg condition buff 1 to 2, xp 1 to 0, bottom control att 2 to 3
Into the Night: top add move 1
Fearsome Blade: top add pierce 2, 1xp to 0xp
Feedback Loop: top att 1 to 2, shield augment to wound and immobilize
The Minds Weakness: top att 1 to 2, att augment replaced with pierce 3
Parasitic Influence: top heal augment 2 to 4
Scurry: top att 1 to 3
Withering Claw: att 1 to 3
Possession: top discards, att 6 to 3, 2xp to 1xp
Frigid Apparition: att 3 to 4
Wretched Creature: bottom move 3 to 4
Brain Leech: top att 4 to 5, range 4 to 5, heal 4 to 5
Vicious Blood: top augment att 2 to 3, ret 2 to 3, 1xp to 2xp
Psychic Projection: bottom discards, new top radial att 4 pierce 3
Giant Rat: hp 4 to 6, att 3 to 4
Plague Rat: move 1 to 2
Ratking: hp 9 to 12, move 2 to 4


To install:
Subscribe to this mod
Start the game
Select Modding
Select Custom Rulesets
Create New Ruleset - Guildmaster Ruleset (or campaign once it releases, this should still work there)
Enter a name for the ruleset and add this mod and any others you want, click on create
Click on the ruleset you created and click Compile
Click Play

I dig a lot of the things you did here, but while I concur that SO MUCH of this character revolves around TMW, nerfing it in the fashion you did makes it nearly an entire different character. My first thought after looking through it was to thing "man it's going to be tough to decide when to use and when not to use TMW vs the others. But the way you modded TMW means I'll not even use it at all. It's so drastically inferior to the other augments. Personally I would have preferred you just kept it as is and made the player consider the other augments, and when to use/discard TMW. I know that having one that is wound would really make me use TMW less, or at least rotate it in. But honestly great work on these in general. they really do add some extra color to the game!

@Enre-Hep, High Muge How does nerfing every attack that class does by 2, and then buffing some cards by 2 make it more powerful? The purpose was to add variety to play instead of using TMW and only TMW. To maintain Mindthief's balance attack cards HAD to be buffed by 1 or 2.

Submissive Affliction appears to only add +1 damage per condition instead of +2, and the bottom is +2 instead of +3 with the range symbol still visible.

Plague Rat's move is still 1, not 2.

Psychic Projection pierces 1, not 3.

As always, you're simply amazing. The only reason I'm catching these errors now is that I'm cross-referencing my own mod with yours to ensure compatability.
