Description
This ATTEMPTS to fix some summon issues by adding scaling health to summons.

Health now increases by character level on this scale:

Summons with:
1 HP 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3
2 HP 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4
3 HP 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6
4 HP 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7
5 HP 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9
6 HP 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10
7 HP 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12
8 HP 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13
9 HP 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 13
10HP 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 16, 16
15HP 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

So a summon with normally 5 HP would have 5 at level 1, 6 at level 4, and 9 at level 9.

This will work with my other mods and overwrite the health values of them. HOWEVER...

Due to limitations of the game, this mod has unintended behaviors and looks goofy, as action cards will not update properly with scaling health. This will show any health values as their default value or if they were modified in another mod as 1. Everything is visual, all health in scenarios will be the values above.

hey stouffer could you give me details on what u did to create scaling? I'm just starting on these a bit myself and familiarizing with the yaml. I dont see how the scale can be created since each set value seems fairly static. Is there an existing scaling value/metric you're are combining or referencing that already exists? u can PM me if you're able to share

I got a messege earlier today to add summon attack scaling too, but honestly it's just much easier to leave any of them as an enhancement dot because most would not improve more than a +1 anyway. I'm not trying to make every summon ablle to solo a room, I just want them to have a chance at taking more than 1 hit at level 9.

Yes it will work with any of my compilation mods. The ability cards will say 1HP on it and there's no way to fix it that I've found because no ability cards have scaling health so the game doesn't know how to display it. I don't know why it defaults to 1.

@EmylRobin Thanks. :) Yeah, I was surprised on them making that change. Overall it's just a matter of grinding gold really. I'd recommend using a great little mod by @Brawph https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2632971604 to change values to a lower amount if you, (like me), aren't into that.

oh dude that's so great! I always thought summon get weaker as you level up, you fix it! I really like your job/balance you did on all characters.
Did you see the new enhancement price system? do you think that could change your mind on some cards you changed ?
