This group is meant as a place to discuss Stylish Action games. It is a place to talk tech, show off your combos, and generally just dive deeper into this subgenre of action games. These titles represent some of the industries finest combat systems, and they deserve a place where they can be appreciated by the true fans.

The goal of this group is to create further interest and bring more awareness to these games, encourage new players to further hone their skills, and be a hub for fans looking to find other similar games to play.

Stylish Action games (also called Character Action games or Spectacle Fighters) are typically defined as score driven action titles that allow for freedom of player expression through combat mechanics. They incentive player growth through replay with the goal of mechanical mastery. The genre is generally most known for third person melee combat titles, however they are not necessarily locked down to one perspective or approach to combat, as FPS and even RPG games for example have been adopted into the genre by fan and high level players.

I am pleased to announce the opening of this group to the public! I hope this place can become a hub of sorts for my favorite subgenre of games, and that more people will come to play these incredible titles.

Does it not let you post one? I'm not super sure how video sharing works on steam but I'd think it's just posting a link to the video in the post itself.

Sorry for not having a ton of stuff ready in this group, I've been super busy with IRL stuff lately. Next two weeks will probably be pretty quiet on my end for this group but after that I'll start getting more posts set up for everyone here. Probably not the best time to start a group on here but planning ahead was never something I did especially well.
