Hello, I'm Shibuya from Studio Snowblind, the developer of Glaciered.

Last weekend, Glaciered acheived over 30,000 40,000 wishlists on Steam, and even got into the top 1000 700 most wishlisted games on Steam! To a small indie developer like me, it's almost hard to believe how big that number is. I would like to thank you all for your continuous support and for looking forward to the game.
(Update: We got even more wishlists, reaching 40,000 in the short time after the announcement. Thank you so much for your support!)

I try to read all the feedback you give based on your experiences with the demo. Some of it has already been reflected in the demo through updates, but some others need more time, such as adjusting the camera. I'll continue to work hard to improve on the game throughout development.

And thanks to your support, I have two exciting announcements to make today!

First, you'll be able to carry over a part of your demo save data to the full game.

If you've played the demo enough, you might have already noticed, but one of the endgames of Glaciered is to craft your very own wings and combine them with character stat growth and mutations to create various unique character builds. For players who have spent countless hours on crafting wings, we're planning on letting you carry over these wings to the full version of the game! More details will be announced in the future.

For other features such as character levels and features unlocked through memory trading, since the demo version has a different experience gain table and requires different materials, these will unfortunately not be carried over to the full game. We appreciate your understanding.

Next is about an English voice over. As a small indie creator, adding a whole new voiced language was not an easy decision to make, but thank to eveyone wishlisting the game, we can finally make it a reality!

Please look forward to the English dub as well as the Japanese one. Of course, you will be able to select the voice over and subtitle language separately to suit your preferences.

Lastly, I would like to introduce some features that will appear in the full game. First off is one of the Shard Quills you'll learn: Sniper Shard Quills.

Sniper Shard Quills are suited to long-range combat. They shoot a crystal shard that flies rapidly and straight ahead, which has a very long range and can pierce through multiple enemies.

It's especially useful for ambushing enemies or when you want to whittle down the number of enemies around you quickly.

The special move Wild Barrage is an ultimate shot with even heavier damage that cannot be guarded against and can also pierce through multiple enemies. It's a very deadly attack that can completely turn the tide of battle.

Of course, the existence of powerful wings like these also means that there are formidable enemies you'll have to use them against. Most of the creatures that appear in the demo strongly resemble existing fish and prehistoric marine life, but halfway into the game, you'll start seeing an even wider variety of futuristic sea creatures.

And when it comes to the sea, how could we forget mollusks? They're still around in the seas of Glaciered, laying in wait for intruders.

Paki aren't the only crustaceans in the sea, either. You'll eventually have to fight other aggressive crustaceans who have evolved even more threateningly on your journey.

Hi, thank you so much for playing the demo!
Since the demo was released, we are very happy that so many people have played the demo and given us very constructive feedback.

We just released an update that includes new features, balance tweaks, and bug fixes based on community feedback.

Now you can access your stash from the resting spots!
Ask our fish friend Pui, to bring the items to the hideout. So they are safe from dropping by death. The default stash space is also doubled.

You can even fast travel directly to the hideout without opening the menu. This makes patching yourself up a lot easier.

You can now rescue your Pui by holding down the interact button close to the Pui that is playing dead.
This option is available both in and out of combat. However, you will be defenseless during the rescue, so be careful.

You no longer have to be bothered by enemies and can read tutorials as long as you want.

• Fast travel refreshes your healing count automatically.
  
• Your latest resting point is now marked on the map screen.
  
• Dodge can now cancel player's Super Stagger animation.
  
• You will notice when you have lost your rest effects and when you get healing items created by Pui.
  
• Expand the range and angle for interacting with Hideout functions, and further reduce the amount of time you need to hold down the button.
  
• Fixed the display of each stat point on the status screen to show the raw stat points and the amount increased by your wing traits separately.
  
• Now you can set the camera sensitivity for X and Y axis separately.
  
• With keyboard and mouse input, "O" now opens the Wing menu and "P" opens the Quest menu directly (keybind reset required).
  
• Slightly increased player status HUD size.
  
• Ice blocks can be destroyed by any attack, except the first ice block.
  
• Collectible points are now emit glitter particles.
  
• Shaders used in VFX are now cached at startup to avoid frame stuttering.

• Reduced damage output of the Iski(s) that spawn in the cave of the Tranquil Trail
  
• Reduced damage area of the Reega (Male) lightning shock
  
• Reduced damage output of the Alpha Guedu
  
• Increased the default stash space limit from 10 to 20
  
• Reduced the overall stamina consumption of various player actions.
  
• Increased the amount of stamina that Lung & Heart stat points increase.
  
• Increased the size of the hit box of the Power Attack with the Regular Blade Quill.

• Fixed an issue that could cause a soft lock when players take damage while leaving resting points.
  
• Fixed an issue where the special creature variants of the RITE OF THE HUNT quest were not randomized properly.
  
• Fixed an issue that sometimes caused enemy AI to not reset properly.
  
• Fixed an issue where summoned weak enemies by bosses were randomly running away from combat.
  
• Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented you from moving the camera in photo mode.
  
• Fixed an issue where the Crystal Edge ability could not harvest collectibles.
  
• Fixed an issue where Pui sometimes didn't play dead even when their health was zero.
  
• Fixed an issue where the cutscene skip progress indicator would overlap with the ESC key guide.
