how does it make sense for a late game royalty "protecting aristocrats" quest to get the royal, 11 court allies AND 7 cataphracts to host? who would sacrifice their last 2 tps to get 12 honour? :D

Hey Guys ... do you also get from time to time freezes and then the game hangs up? Many people said it could have to do with VFE :( it happens often when i click on pawns/plants or storage containers

First, I work very long hours and do not have time for the "go here, do this, go there, do that" stuff; I just want to be able to play the game. All I know is something broke, I went to see if the community could help and I got crickets. So doing what I really didn't want to do, I looked through things to see if I could just spot something, hoping I could get some help, response, or at least pointed in a proper direction. I enjoy Rimworld and I really enjoy all the mod work you guys do; it makes the game 1,000% better so I sincerely do appreciate everything. Also, I am not placing blame on anyone, I am merely just trying to figure out what happened and bring it to attention.

Here is the issue: ( Original Post Here, With Images and Mod List : There is some kind of weird RGB thing happening around the border of the game but does not seem to be affecting the general terrain of the playable map. Also, ALL pawns are invisible and not showing anything on them (i.e. weapons, hair, clothes/armor, etc.) The entire graphic is missing, to include from their profile windows at the top of the screen.

I only post this here because in looking at the error screen (this is the aforementioned thing I really didn't want to have to do ..), I ran across this one that said "Error in static constructor of VEF.HarmonyPatches..." and that it threw an exception.

so i added kraltech to my game with the framework.but the faction joined the game hostile -100. with natural standing of 0. they offered peace talks with an outcome of +68 wich didnt change in the faction tab. sending gifts does nothing and even seting the relation via dev mode doesnt work. any idea what the issue could be?

@carlton the dmca was fake to start with
No info was filed out and it was sent to several thousand mods
On closer inspection, it just does this even when its vanilla factions, if i have a fresh save with it and have nothing more added then it works, but then if i add even a SINGLE faction with the mod options then it completely breaks everything
I'm getting a bug where adding new factions to my save causes the faction tab to show absolutely nothing and the factions added not showing up anywhere on the map

After some digging around, i discovered that this is the mod that lets you add factions to existing saves

an issue probably related to Vanilla Vehicles Expanded, when you sell/gift prisoners to settlements, they dont leave your caravan and you can keep trading for goodwill and silver.

considerably modded run. it could be Imprisonment on the Go or Prisoner Hitching causing trouble (you can see the "1" and "Joins as Slave/Colonist" text overlapping), those are the only 2 mods that could be interfering with something, though i havent done any testing myself just yet

i know it's not yours,the mod that it comes from hasn't changed in months even before the v1.6 release.
Only this mod changed, and it's resulting in that error. this is only a single error out of an entire list of errors like that across several mods of mine on v1.5 since v1.6 released.
Something with VEF is causing errors across several of my mods on v1.5 now that use VEF as a dependency.

idk what someone did but i'm now getting these errors through out my mods for Rimworld v1.5 ...
"Config error in Cov_Carbine: has components but it's thingClass is not a ThingWithComps"
I also checked, the mod that is being broken hasn't changed, this mod has. I would like for not all my mods to be throwing these errors.

They say it’s a targeted attack against many modding communities by some idiots with nothing else to do. Heard that Hearts of Iron is also getting hit with the same thing. hope you guys will be able to get this shit resolved.

Its currently happening on numerous popular mods across multiple workshop heavy games. Has happened before on other games as well... usually Steam just removes the DMCA after reviewing it.

hey guys! Im playing multiplayer with my friends, and with VEF we are getting errors each 5-10m. In the console I found this: "Mod Vanilla Expanded Framework uses an older API version (mod: 0.3, current: 0.5)"
How can i fix this?

Causes InvalidProgramException when patching Sandy_Detailed_RPG_GearTab.TryDrawOverallArmor1. Likely due to method signature change in Sandy's RPG Inventory. Please update the Harmony patch or add version check.

Hello! The RPG Style Inventory Revamped updated today and it seems it became incompatible with VEF in some manner. This isn't exactly a bug, and I am not even sure if you handle such things, although I know there are some patches for other mods in the files. Either way, I figured it's an information and not something bug-report-worthy.

Is there a way to choose the location of a newly spawned faction in an on-going game? And is there an option to spawn a second instance of the same faction (but different e.g having two separate Civil Outlander Union factions) or can that only be chosen at the start of the game? Thanks

VE mods have been rock solid for me, for the most part. There have been bugs sometimes. But it is more often some other mods that don't play nice.
