Fixed error if LAO mod isn't active. I just had to tweak a patch to not throw an error, no other changes.

09/19/2025 Update:

Added compatibility patch with Layered Atmosphere and Orbit. This is backwards compatible with existing saves.

I also changed the height of the deep orbit from 400km to 750km by request. No impact to existing saves from what I can see.

08/23/2025 Update:
Fixed other patch from giving off a red error on startup if a custom scenario was already patched for Odyssey (this error did not break anything). No function changes have been made to the mod, I simply changed to not output a red error if Odyssey my patch wasn't needed.

After much effort, I've rewritten the compatibility XML patch DeepOrbitPatches.xml. This should now work with all custom scenarios, and the ability to edit starting scenarios in game now works. No impact to existing saves.

Major Compatibility Patch

I've re-written my compatibility patches to use nested conditional PatchOperationAdds to account for all custom scenarios, including patching in the Odyssey Orbit layer if the modded scenario you're using hasn't patched Odyssey yet.

Please note: if the Orbit(Odyssey) or Deep Orbit(this mod) are not showing up in the zoomed out map view, you must load Deep Orbit at the bottom of your mod list, after whatever mod's scenario/custom start you're using is loaded. If you encounter this just let me know and I'll update the About.xml so that mod automatically loads before Deep Orbit.

Update About.xml to make this mod load after Sky Island so that world generation doesn't crash. Both mods work together with this load order.

08/16/2025 Update:
Added compatibility with Save our Ship 2 unstable branch. In my brief testing I noticed that the bug hive/holes don't spawn on my asteroids due do how SoS2 changes some map gen stuff, but there is still a loot stash and plenty of resources there.

I don't play or follow SoS2's development so if my patch needs to be updated as a result of their updates please let me know and I will make the necessary updates.
