Dark is the strongest element in the game because of what the Night Shroud can do with it killing enemies regardless of their health. Which is a very cool theme for the character but because the Night Shroud can fairly easily do this it's an issue. His kit has very low attack values and a lot of dark generation which can be considered a kill on non bosses to balance this. So in order to tackle both these issues at once I'm giving the night shroud minor buffs to a majority of his abilities while making it harder for him to kill enemies at full health. You will now need to get an enemy to 70% or less health to kill them (Decimals Matter!!!). A majority of the kill cards in the game are Lose cards or have some sort of restriction to their kill effect so this is the restriction I placed on the night shroud. This allows the night shroud to be a more cooperative character that has to interact with his allies in order to have his prior instakill effectiveness or for the Night shroud to get certain items and enhancements. The second thing I did was give the Night shroud more of a focus on disabling enemies because of how often he can be invisible which can be very unhelpful to their allies. This was to allow a better experience for the party no matter the composition. So this mod is a nerf to the Night Shroud early game but they should reach a similar power level or stronger compared to the original by the mid game.


Sidenotes:
one of the last changes that I wanted to do but went against was making "voice of the night" no longer have charges and stun an enemy when there invisible but it was probably to powerful.

the reason why I made Eyes of night a Discard card is because in my opinion it is weak for a level 7 card because of how niche it is. the night shroud doesn't have an amazing attack modifier deck but it hopefully stops you from rolling some of your bad modifiers because you have advantage. the ability to see invisible enemies is only for night demons and wind demons so for those reason i made it a discard card.

thank you i was thinking the same thing. Eyes of night no longer being a burn makes the card less situational and more of a damage boost you can take on or off.

Kind of okay for me, especially with Eyes of the Night top no longer being a burn it makes the attack build much better imo.

Gonna admit, will probably never use the insta kills with the way you nerfed them. By the time you have an enemy to half health, you could probably kill them with your normal attacks anyways. Plus it completely ruins the battle goal where you need to kill undamaged enemies (which they normally excel at). Noted I agree you made the class stronger as a whole, but it just feels less fun if you can't actually be an assassin.
