In my opinion Battlefield Hardline stands chin to chin with Battlefield 4 in terms of greatness.

For a 2015 game the graphics still look nice. The campaign is somewhat goofy and short, but really really enjoyable. I would probably choose this game over many of Need for Speed games.

Multiplayer is unfortunately as dead as you would expect. Nevertheless it's probably the only battlefield game that's worth buying for the singleplayer alone.

This game shouldn't be "Mostly positive". It's at least a "Very positive" one.

The game brings you the hotline miami gameplay into a very nice non-pixelated graphics version. Maps are really well designed, levels get progressively more difficult as you play and gunplay feels nice.

Don't get me wrong, it is a hard game ... but a balanced hard game. It's not being unfair with you, and with every level you pass, it only slightly pushes your limits to become bette. The game has replay value since you can improve time, perform speedruns etc.

Overall a really good game, and I wish we see more of this in the future.

Not even the achievements work properly in this game, but somehow it's "Very positive".

In any case, an interesting concept, outside of the top-down version we are used to. It needs a lot of work and development to be actually playable.
