Good game. Solid game play, with a decent story and beautiful scenes. There are only two issues with it, Firstly, is that at the end, both the story, and the spawn points, start to get a little bit sloppy. Secondly, the story ending in my opinion didn't suit the rest of the buildup that the campaign gave us.

Other than that a big thumbs up to Asobo for their creativity regarding the game and "fight" mechanics.

A game where the AI knows how to shoot and has actually a meaning to be in the game ? Hell yeah.

But seriously though, the whole series is a testament to FPS games. Yes, the graphics are dated, but I think all the entries in the series can easily stand against the good old call of duty games.

The AI is good, it can actually aim and cause damage. You can even sit back and relax on some missions, and the AI will just kill everyone eventually, or die trying (yes, in contrast to COD, the AI can die on Halo). It will just take them a while. Also the AI seems to have some depth. If you shoot them, they will say stuff to you, and if you cause mass casualties, they might even call you names and start shooting you. In general the AI is really really good, much better than what I have seen in numerous other more modern triple-A games.

As for the maps, the levels are OK. Unfortunately there is a lot recycling going on, which is mildly annoying on Reach and CE, but it gets better after that. The story is practically non-existent in Reach and CE, but it gets massively better from Halo 2 and upwards, since there are several cut-scenes, and in general there is a whole story/lore behind all of the games.

One bad side of the games, is that on some places the textures seem to be buggy or completely dark. This happens on several places throughout CE, Reach and Halo 2, and I found myself switching to the old version of the game for a few seconds (by just pressing tab) in order to better navigate the map. Probably those issues come from the very poor texture/lighting choices of the people that "remastered" Reach, CE and Halo 2.

Depending on where you live, the cost of the game might be a burden. In my opinion, just save money from buying the next call of duty or battlefield, that you know that it's gonna be ♥♥♥♥, and buy the master chief collection. You'll get massive good quality content, for half the price of a modern game.

To conclude, the game is really good. Starting from Halo 2 and up the story gets interesting, and you have a reason for which you fight, and you'll spend many hours shooting the covenants and the flood.

9/10 from me.

Finally ... I got my so much needed dose of Shadow Tactics again. Too bad that it was too short ...

Gameplay and graphics wise, the game is as great as the original. Someone might argue that this was a bit easier than the first game, but hey, maybe we just got better at it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Now, my two biggest gripes with the game though have to do with both the story and length of of it.

Firstly, story-wise, this is a derivative of the original story. It basically tells an untold adventure that happened through the original journey. Unlike the first game, I felt that the characters shared directly and indirectly with the player many information about their past - much more than the original game - which is absolutely great. The problem is that at the epilogue of the game, you are called to make a choice as Aiko: kill or don't kill Lady Chiyo. And unfortunately, this choice doesn't influence the story of the game whatsoever ... because well ... the adventure has finished. And I was really sad about this, because the game is literally called "Aiko's choice", but the choice that she is called to make, doesn't affect your game AT ALL... and we know for a fact that it won't affect it in the future either, because we know how this whole adventure ends because of the first game. I am not saying that they should have developed a full-blown RPG ... but common ...

Now, going past that, I think that the game length was extremely short. If you were a die-hard fun of the original game like me, then buying this at full price is a no-brainer. For the rest of the people now, who did have some fun with the first game, but they weren't really captured by it, then you guys might want to consider that you are going to pay around 20 euros for a game that will last around 3-4 hours, maybe a bit more if you take your time doing everything. That being said, it might not be a good time/fun investment for everybody to buy this at full price.

To conclude, even though there are a couple of negatives about the game, it still remains an excellent choice for people who like this genre, and it's certainly a light in the darkness of the empty and soulless 3A games we are used to see these days.

Hated by the community for a long time for absolutely no reason. It seems that lately people give it the appreciation that it deserves. One of the best Hitman game in the series, and even today, almost 10 years later, it can stand greatly in front of his younger and better looking brothers.

The first of the latest Hitman trilogy. One of the best arcade "hitman simulation" games ever created. Fun to explore its big and full of opportunities maps, with very good graphics and amazing mechanics. Certainly worth a buy!

The second game of the Hitman's trilogy. It continues the successful job of his ancestors, by delivering - once again - an amazing "Hitman sandbox". Improved graphics, interesting missions, and unbelievably well-made maps.

The best Sniper Elite game in my opinion. It's graphics still stand, even after 8 years (as of writing this review). A unique game, with a good "COD" vibe, delivering "realistic" mechanics, amazing camera angles and well-thought maps that make this experience unique.

Dodge, dodge, dodge, attack, dodge dodge.

Repeat that throughout almost all bosses in the game, and BOOM, you won.

This for some reason is considered the pinnacle of gaming for some of the fans of this game, which is I must say, extremely sad for them. Other than that, the game has a broken combat system, an absolutely atrocious locking system (for the enemies), and is literally riddled with bugs. On top of that, there is also no story.
There is some obscure and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lore, that everybody seems to make their own ♥♥♥♥ about it.

So why do I put a positive review ? Simply because the game shouldn't get a negative review either. It has good graphics - especially considering that it came out on 2016 -, a somewhat decent gameplay, and a lot of speed-running possibilities/capabilities. Also, there is a lot of replayability value, since you can choose a different build in order to experience the game again. Additionally, the variety of areas and enemies, as well as the music on some of the bosses are just amazing.

All in all, DS3 is a nice game, but it's massively overrated by its army of fanboys.
