This is the hardest game I've had to review negatively.

The graphics are stunning, the Italian scenery is breathtaking, and the map design captures the atmosphere perfectly. The vehicles feel authentic, and the voice acting is absolutely superb. Even from an optimization standpoint, it ranks highly compared to other UE5 releases I played recently.

Unfortunately, the story is excruciatingly disappointing. The moment Enzo meets Isabella and the rest of the "family," it becomes painfully obvious you're watching a mafia-themed Romeo and Juliet. What's most disappointing is that it never evolves beyond this premise—it's simply a rehashed version of Shakespeare's tragedy with some predictable differences (in the end) to fit the characters and the setting.

The writing does have some bright spots. Characters like Luca and Valentina (even Tino, surprisingly) are well-developed and compelling. However, as the story approaches its conclusion, it feels rushed and uninspired. The writers opted for clichéd plot points and killed off likeable, well-crafted characters without giving them meaningful resolutions.

I'm honestly sad. This game successfully managed to return to its Mafia 1 roots (even if it was partially) and makes smart choices about which mechanics to evolve and which to refine. All that excellent work was put down by a story that trips over its feet at the finish line.

It's truly a shame.

Amazing story writing, impeccable story telling, stunning graphics, and a solid gameplay loop to keep the player engaged.

The only negative I could say about the game is how repetitive ACT II is, which hurts the pacing of the game a bit; nevertheless, the ending of ACT II and what comes after that totally makes up for it.

It's also worth noting that this beautiful game was made by only 30 people, which is nothing short of impressive. Buy it, totally worth the asking price and more.

Only positive thing I can say about the game is that the graphics and the map are insanely good. This is by far the most beautiful depiction of that era of Japan that I have seen in any game ever.

Other than that, the game is simply not fun.

The premise with this game is that there are quests with story lines, and you get to "choose" which one to do. Or so you believe. In reality the leveling system forces you constantly to select specific quests and story lines, to the point that you realize that the story is actually pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ linear.

The fact is that the only reason this game is an RPG, is to make it more appealing to swipe your credit card on overpowered gear at the cash shop. You never see any well-thought RPG mechanics, because there aren't any.

The new quest system is absolutely horrendous, since you have to effectively guess every 5 minutes where your next main quest is located. This "triangulation" game looks promising at start, because it goes out of the usual checklist that ubisoft had for the last 12 years. That is before you do it over 15 times in your first play session. Then it becomes very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.

Lastly the story is boring. No other way to describe it. It's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring slop. It's a classic revenge story with so much filler content, that makes Kim Kardashian look like a natural beauty.

This game solidifies once more that this franchise is DEAD. Only thing left is a reanimated corpse of what used to be one of the greatest series of video games ever. Don't buy this slop, not even on 90% sale. You have too little time on this earth to waste it on bad video games.

The game starts out with a bang, and it looks very promising. Nevertheless as the story progresses, it becomes more and more egregious, leading to an absurdly lazy and badly written ending.

Besides the story, the coop mechanics are pretty decent and they are trying to switch them up throughout the game. Graphically the game doesn't look that insane, but it's still passable even for today standards.

Overall it's a decent game, especially considering that there are not many games of this type on the market. I would advise you snatching it on a deep sale.

A pure showcase of Sony's capabilities in terms of graphical fidelity and general production value.

The story is a continuation of the first game, and it offers a "closure" to several aspects that were left unanswered in the first game. The open world now feels more alive and homogeneous than it did in the first game. Graphics look great, and the base game runs pretty good on my 30 series graphics card. The DLC for some reason though runs like ****.

If you played and liked the first one, you'll probably like this one as well.

Probably the best stealth action top-down game you will ever play. Good story, great gameplay, impressive level design and world building.

RIP Mimimi.

A SWAT simulation game that actually requires you to be methodological and precise. Visuals are pretty good, and the overall gameplay elements feels pretty clean. AI for the most part is pretty good at giving you a tough but fair challenge, even though sometimes it does feel a bit dodgy.

The game features a wide selection of different maps and locations. Just make sure before you and your squad jump into it, that you will be enjoying the pace/slowness of the gameplay.
