@BananaSauce Thanks for the reply, That sounds awesome. I love the idea of the 25% spawn rate making him kinda a rare encounter. I was thinking melee Hits do bleed damage and tank knockback? and on death Leave acid and some smoke to conceal the other infected, since f.e.v model kinda looks like hes ready to blow up lol

Alright that works for me thats why I was hesitant to give numbers on the first comment I am horrible at being a judge of fairness those sounded alright in my head but in practice im sure it would suck lol.

@Frost Byte First of all those stats are absolute bonkers, i could add the bleed thing you suggested but if i do i dont think the temp hp should once again go back to being permenant hp as you said, i could do something to make the hunter more stealthier alongside the bleed effect(if youd like), as for the smoker the poison damage cloud thing should be very simple to do since i already did something like that in my lepotitsa mod, not sure if i can increase the tongue range but it might be possible with cvars

Fair enough the thought process was since their the same specials just reskinned it would make sense to keep them similar but with a slight change hence the bleed effect after rescue (Plus IDK kinda fits with the cultist thing a bit I feel) but if you want something a bit more unique as far as stats I could try since I did want some balance to it.

Hunter
- 1000 HP (since it has the armoured vest)
- Maybe like 2x its swipe and pounce damage


Smoker
-500 Hp
- 2x Drag speed when it grabs a survivor
- 2x Constrict damage
- if possible extend the range at whitch its tongue can stretch (assuming the AI can take advantage of this) maybe 2-3x as far
-Smoke cloud damages survivors

For both
When on fire their damage is even more amplified ill leave the number up to you
they move faster like the Tank did in L4D1
I still like the bleed idea after rescue if you want to implement it but thats up to you

@Frost Byte so you want them to have the same stats, but theyd be silent (idk if id be able to do that, havent tried doing anything with the special infected sounds), also if the hp that was made temporary returned to normal what would be the point of that? I could try doing something like that but id like to make their stats atleast a lil different since their abilities wouldnt make them that unique

Im hoping this would be simple enough but for these keep their HP Speed and damage the same but if possible.
- Make them completely silent
- When the hunter pounces you or the smoker chokes you when you are saved for maybe 5-10 your health is temporary or bleeding then it goes back to being static if that makes sense
- Maybe for the smoker if he could drag you faster than the stock one that would be cool to make it a bit more threatning
Also these are really cool adds variety to the game

do the volatile for the hunter, making him only pouce when very close, having more health and being very fast.
