I have uploaded a patch to apply the Regrowth grasslands patch to Odyssey grasslands. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561786598
Naymaier 28 Aug @ 6:14am
i think is not working on grassland biome
OG_PVPPY 25 Aug @ 3:29am
Alpha biomes support?
Ruby 23 Aug @ 2:28pm
Pulled a classic post before read. My bad. Good luck on regrowth! The error seems mostly harmless from what I can tell if regrowth simply removed it's grassland, so not a huge issue.
Hawkefire 21 Aug @ 1:54pm
Question, would it be possible to add in the various hydro-agriculture plants to naturally spawn in different areas too? They need to grow in the water, so they'd only be able to spawn in rivers and freshwater lakes/pools
Lemniscate_Mike 14 Aug @ 3:56pm
@Harmonea That's good, because I just spent all afternoon trying to make a patch myself with no luck.
AI failed me too. =T
Harmonea  [author] 13 Aug @ 11:43am
@ Lemniscate_Mike That comment was for me, not for users.

I really need y'all to chill on the spam of comments about Regrowth. It literally just updated two days ago. I'm f'ing aware of the issue.
Lemniscate_Mike 12 Aug @ 5:47pm
@daz_ian Think you could explain how please?
daz_ian 12 Aug @ 3:46pm
I'm seeing errors when I add Regrowth 2 as well; they boil down to attempting to patch the biome RG_TemperateGrassland, which doesn't exist in the 1.6 version.

I'd recommend switching the Regrowth grassland patch to target Odyssey and its grassland instead.
Iirly 12 Aug @ 8:46am
Dunno if its just me but in case it is not. Using this with the recently updated reworked Regrowth Core makes nearly everything spawn in the Dark Forest (Medieval Overhaul) I got the expected wild spawn items here, but i am also getting other things like cotton, tomatoes, potatoes and so many things that I should have to buy from traders. So heads up, its a bit overpowered if you're using it with Regrowth Core. This may also apply to other biomes as well, but I haven't checked.
Vertigo 10 Aug @ 6:58pm
The patch errors are because this mod is loading 1.5 patches instead of 1.6. loadfolders.xml was never updated for 1.6

That being said, I'm sure there might be some other changes needed do to 1.6 Regrowth changes.
Lemniscate_Mike 10 Aug @ 12:16pm
Getting patch loading errors with ReGrowth 2 and this.
Any ideas to make them compatible?
LaviWasTaken 10 Aug @ 5:28am
@Harmonea Ahh, thank you for the reply. I was confused as the descriptions of flowers said they are often harvested for the perfumes, but they didn't give any yeld when harvested. This explains it.
Harmonea  [author] 9 Aug @ 11:24am
@LaviWasTaken If you have Alpha Crafts, flowers can be harvested for their petals, and the petals can make seeds at relevant benches. Without Alpha Crafts, you can't. This mod was made for a pack that includes AC, so that's why it distributes flowers.
LaviWasTaken 8 Aug @ 7:02am
Okay, but how do I get flower seeds other than buying expensive bag from trader?
Vustex 4 Aug @ 11:01am
Vanilla Vanilla Expanded.
Sledjer 27 Jul @ 1:44am
Do you have any plans to add plants to the new biomes that were added in Odyssey?
VitaKaninen 15 Jul @ 10:08am
Ok, thanks.
Harmonea  [author] 15 Jul @ 10:05am
@VitaKaninen No
VitaKaninen 15 Jul @ 9:58am
Once you have obtained the seeds and unlocked the ability to plant a particular plant, will it stop spawning randomly on the map?
Sosvo 14 Jul @ 5:06pm
What is the difference with wild cultivation ?
Futstub 12 Jul @ 11:16pm
Ok, thank you, Imma use that mod then, but I keep checking this one in case you update it for more biomes, then Imma switch to yours! :)
Harmonea  [author] 12 Jul @ 8:41pm
@Futsub Full details about plants added are in the chart in the mod description (located below the exact paragraph I'm copying, incidentally). If you disagree with any of my choices, or you want to cover different biomes or use different mods to cover them, I recommend the excellent Choose Wild Plant Spawns mod to tweak everything to your liking. This mod is just an easy install-and-go preset designed with Ferny's Progression Modpack in mind.
Futstub 12 Jul @ 10:13am
How does this work with modded biomes (like from "More Vanilla Biomes") and the ones from the new DLC? Is there a mod option to change the spawned plants?
Harmonea  [author] 1 Jul @ 11:32am
@ruler_ruler_hi4_seeker_4_seeker I addressed this literally just 4 comments before yours
I was wondering: have you seen the VV - New Harvest mod? If so, will compatibility be added for this? In the meantime, how does one make this mod compatible with other such mods?
Happy 30 Jun @ 2:12am
Ignore this one...you will see this prick in many good mods with the same beheavior. Take your time.
Harmonea  [author] 21 Jun @ 3:47pm
I'm not one of those authors who just updates the tag and hopes it'll work, I actually test and check for changes in the mods I'm hooking into.

Aaaand not one single mod plant this thing spawns has been updated to 1.6, so you can calm the actual f down.
AzoorFox 21 Jun @ 3:38pm
UPDATE WHEN?????????????????
Harmonea  [author] 3 Jun @ 11:26am
@Iirly As stated in the description: "If you disagree with any of my choices, or you want to cover different biomes or use different mods to cover them, I recommend the excellent Choose Wild Plant Spawns mod to tweak everything to your liking. This mod is just an easy install-and-go preset designed with Ferny's Progression Modpack in mind."

I'm not really interested in digging through 50 new plant defs, researching what biomes they should appear in, and trying to bend the results of that research in such a way that the plants are distributed in a fair and potentially interesting way (like in the above table). It would be much better for you guys if someone invested in New Harvest just forks my mod. It's an XML-only mod with an open license, so it'd be a good learning project.
Iirly 3 Jun @ 9:49am
@harmonea would you consider adding the plants from the mod New Harvest to this? It's a fairly new mod that adds more new plants including new types of plants used for early game building materials like Rattan and such.
Harmonea  [author] 3 Apr @ 12:21am
@ 猫雷Kiss yes
猫雷Kiss 2 Apr @ 10:45pm
will this mod work on mid-game save?
Gear`O`Derm 2 Apr @ 10:44pm
Excuse me if I don't understand it correctly, should this mod be placed before or after Choose Wild Plant Spawns?
Kimo' 30 Mar @ 12:44pm
Ah I missed that part, my bad. Thanks for the reply!
Harmonea  [author] 30 Mar @ 12:27pm
@Kimo' As stated in the description, I haven't put any backup crops in place. Check out Choose Wild Plant Spawns to make your own tweaks!
Kimo' 30 Mar @ 6:26am
Really cool mod! Just one question, if you don't have Medieval overall, do you get the VE equivalent, like the apples in the boiling forest for exemple?
StockSounds 29 Mar @ 8:26pm
Gotta love a ferny approved mod that improves scavenging!
Smxrez 29 Mar @ 8:08pm
YUMMY YUMMY
ferny 29 Mar @ 8:06pm
Great work
