Kinda noticed a bug, no idea what triggers it but sometimes the skins change when looking at a different gun (I think that's what triggers it) overall a reall good rng-reskin mod though.

ur gonna need VTFedit, first get the files of this mod, download it from steamworkshopdownloader if you dont have it already,open it and there should be a vtf file called smg_a thats where all the skins are in, open it with vtfedit and press "file" from top left and you can export the skins there and u should get the tga file of the skin, after you got the skins that are in tga format, you want to import them into a vtf file again, open VTFedit and go to "file" from top left again and import and select the skins you want, for the alpha and normal format should be DXT1 and DXT1 and thats the only thing u need to change and press OK and you should have your VTF with the skins you only selected now go ahead name it into smg_a again and replace that with the current smg_a file you dont need to change anything in VMT now turn it into a vpk file and its all done

actually the skins are all in one VTF file you have to export all the skins and import them again but leave the ones u dont want to include

For example, say I wanted to remove the Patriotic and Red Finish Skins, what are their files called?

@multoman Found this guide and it helped alot. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3267791137 I think the only reason was because of .tga file not working for me lol. Also I got a .vtf addon for paint.net and it works flawlessly. Thanks for the help dawg, also, if it's possible, I may be a crazy for this, but is it gonna be possible that I extract all of this as seperate skins like Pegster is doing? Because god bless you for these, these skins kicks SirWololo's skins.

i mostly use DXT1 and DXT1 for color and alpha format, are you sure theres no misspellings in the vmt file? maybe try naming your vtf file into simpler words like skin1 or skin2

Although there was time where it becomes transparent, I used GIMP before and it was like transparent...

It works fine on vtfedit, ingame it becomes a missing texture.

thats weird i only problem i know how to fix is the texture being transparent when exported as a tga file but i never encountered that before, does it look fine when showed in the vtfedit but its error ingame? or everythings just turn into error texture

I'm not sure if I'm doing this wrong - apparently when I try to make the .tga file into vtf because I wanna seperate that way and save it, it always end up being a missing texture. Is it something with the Color Format and Alpha Format?

@《Happi Doggo》i can try helping you about skins from my experience trying setting $phongfresnelranges "[.1 .1 .1]" and $envmaptint "[0.1 .1 .1]" lower is basicly lesser gloss, or if you dont want the gloss effect at all you can remove $envmap env_cubemap

one skin per map and will change every level transition but will also sometimes mimic multiple skins in the map by randomly changing its skin everytime the map detects a recently spawned weapon with that RNG
