im a bit confused with dream eater. I know hes supposed to be immune to damage for periods of time but hes immune to damage for very long, i can only damage him abit at the beginning and then i cant anymore after dodging alot. Im playing on master mode.

Trying to load the mod just crashes my game, checked the client.log and there was an insane amount of warnings in there for a mod called 'ThoriumRework', which I'm assuming is this mod considering my game runs fine without this mod enabled.

Lmao mad cuz bad, it’s tmodloader dude it’s not supposed to be fair or easy, now calm tf down, take a sip of root beer, and try again. Viscount is one of the nastier thorium bosses, and reworks exist to make the fight more difficult and flashy, if you really can’t kill viscount you can always turn his rework off.
I don't know how you made an already annoying as hell boss worse. But you managed to do it. And I am pissed. And I am referring to Viscount. I always hated that fight, specifically because of the fact you get forced into a bat. It's annoying already as is. And you made it so much god damn worse. It has fucked me over more times than I can count. ESPECIALLY, WHEN I CAN'T ATTACK WHEN THE BOSS IS LITERALLY AT LOW HEALTH EVERY TIME. For the LOVE OF GOD. Just remove the god damn bat transformation bullshit in the fight. It isn't fun at all. It's annoying

Assuming you're facing the same thing where you have to reload each time you try hosting(or it forces you into a temporary config) you need to change some settings in the config menu for this mod. For the first config/Boss rework toggles, you need to turn off the first 4 bosses: grand thunder bird, queen jellyfish, viscount, buried champion and grand energy storm.
and then for the next seetings(cross mod compat settings) its thorium boss in calamity boss rush.

though this is only if we're assuming you have the same mods as I do. I'm unsure if this varies from whether you have a certain mod or what.

But one way to check for sure is to just screenshot this mod's config once you start your tmod, and then check the difference when you reload it after hosting a server(or inside the server)

Do you know what causes the force change in configs for this mod? Whenever I start a multiplayer game, it keeps asking me to change the config. However upon looking at the config after being forcibly changed; it's the same as my default..

Community souls works fine. (Also it's very up to date, only issue is that the thorium enchantments from it are outdated but every other enchantment isn't weirdly enough)

Hmmm, I'll start with removing convergence mod since it's out dated (use whummus balancing instead)

The game always freezes on “finalizing” when loading this setup. I tested by removing mods one by one, and this specific combination always fails. Are there known incompatibilities here?

Pretty much why I moved terminal lucidity to higher difficulties (it's now legendary mode or any modded difficulty to work, it no longer exists on expert and master) since many people are just not bothered to read jack shit. I could go full Ubisoft and cover the UI with every hint imaginable for the mechanic and some people would still not realize them.

When I host a server it ask me to disable this mod before hosting(won’t let me host if I don’t disable it), I have ragnarok on, should I try the pinned discussion? Is there a way to do the sliders before hosting the server?

I had to create a singleplayer world to see the portal mechanic for the first time. I guess either the multiplayer/world/server was bug. I'll test again later now that I know what i am suoposed to be looking for

@Catunsito, Godslayer4000 already explained it. There are purple circles the boss spawns that you have to touch to remove the debuff (they should look like portals with a star in the middle). If they don't spawn, it's likely your or your friends' internet since I had occasions where this happens due to multiplayer ping spikes/desync.

however in case you want to know how to get rid of it lore accurately (its really cool) or if you want to keep it after I tell you.


getting rid of terminal lucidity has nothing to do with dodging, rather, you must run into something, as the dream eater attacks he will spawn these purple rifts in time, glowing small purple circles, run into one and the terminal lucidity debuff will be replaced by a same named buff buff that both prevents the debuff and makes the eater vulnerable, it lasts for 1 minute, be warned that some of the eaters reality destroying attacks will instantly clear the buff.


this also tells me you dont read item descriptions as the doomslayers coin literally goes in depth on how to counteract the debuff.

Is it possible that we are unable to remove Terminal Lucidity in Multiplayer? Have been running around the boss for over 10 mins getting hit or dodging every single skill and still no way around the debuff

Hello! If possible, could you disable contact damage for certain bosses when they're moving. For example, the Grand Thunder Bird sometimes just rams into you when repositioning for the feather barrage or storm attacks, and it's much too quick to react to. It's something similar to how Calamity's EoC only does contact damage when its charing or its in its second phase. It'd be very nice

got a bug to report, the biteybaby summoned by viscount currently does not have its bestiary picture, it has an entry, but the picture is blank in the latest version
