Read the known Bugs:
"Nova shotgun doesn't reload fully, and gets stuck in the reload. I'm not a big lua coder, so I don't know how to fix this. Sorry. I'm only a weapon coder so... I can only do so little."
Maybe this occured the Error.

you can try it out and see if that's the issue
Go to the weapon's Lua file (weapon_ttt_glock.lua for example) and find the "ShootBullet" tab.
Once you're there look for this:
bullet.Damage = dmg * GetConVarNumber("sv_buu_damagemultiplier")
and change the right side to how much damage you want the gun to do, like this:
bullet.Damage = 25
