CommieDog 13 Sep 2014 @ 6:27pm
Cool idea for a wonder, but ruined by being way overpowered.
PROMETHEUS 26 Agu 2014 @ 6:05am
Or perhaps better just rename it to Imperial Forums
PROMETHEUS 25 Agu 2014 @ 4:11pm
would be good if it was only for Rome .
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 4 Agu 2014 @ 10:40am
and paste that in the building.xml file
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 4 Agu 2014 @ 10:40am
you can do that yourself, It's pretty easy actually

here's an example:

<Civilization_BuildingClassOverrides>
<Row>
<CivilizationType>CIVILIZATION_AUSTRIA</CivilizationType>
<BuildingClassType>BUILDINGCLASS_FORUM</BuildingClassType>
<BuildingType/>
</Row>
<Row>
<CivilizationType>CIVILIZATION_EGYPT</CivilizationType>
<BuildingClassType>BUILDINGCLASS_FORUM</BuildingClassType>
<BuildingType/>
</Row>
<Row>
<CivilizationType>CIVILIZATION_INDIA</CivilizationType>
<BuildingClassType>BUILDINGCLASS_FORUM</BuildingClassType>
<BuildingType/>
</Row>
</Civilization_BuildingClassOverrides>

so what this does is it prevents Austria, Egypt and India from building the Forum of Rome. You need to add the names of all other civs except Rome so that all the others except Rome can't build it.

could you possibly make this rome-only?
DemonDino 19 Jul 2014 @ 5:56pm
wow...
someone beat rome to making the center of rome
alvarobuenogarcia1234 10 Jul 2014 @ 3:07am
This wonder costs the same production than the Oracule, but Oracule only give a free policy while this wonder gives much more bonifications
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 9 Feb 2014 @ 11:22am
yes, after 45 turns are over, it will reappear
DarkKnight 9 Feb 2014 @ 4:46am
Hi. I am wondering-if another leader asks me if they can buy the luxury for 45 turns, can I sell it? Will it reappear once the export period is over?
•cC• Chen, Honkifex Maximus 24 Jan 2014 @ 5:13pm
I think this wonder is a bit overpowered, personally.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 19 Jan 2014 @ 6:47pm
yeah, will do
QuesoNova 19 Jan 2014 @ 6:45pm
make the baths of trajan
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 14 Jan 2014 @ 8:49am
no, it gives at trade route, so if you delete that line in the xml, then it will work
Civitar 14 Jan 2014 @ 8:44am
Does this work with Gods & Kings?
Nicecream 6 Jan 2014 @ 3:41pm
thank you, i was a little confused
Cresto127 4 Jan 2014 @ 3:52pm
@Havoc What if you get one statue resource for each conquered city? It'd make more sense to use them as a BNW culture artifact but that would require messing with the overall slots for artifacts as well. Cool mod though, if a bit overpowered.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 3 Jan 2014 @ 2:21pm
i updated it
though its before this catched popularity, a line in the xml caused cities to disappear after building this, though its fixed now
Nicecream 3 Jan 2014 @ 12:47pm
what do you mean "cities no longer disapear" i dont remember any of my cities just vanishing
BPIDUHN 2 Jan 2014 @ 8:30am
Looks good
MONKEY_KILLER45 1 Jan 2014 @ 5:08pm
great play:KSmiley:
WinterKnami 31 Des 2013 @ 5:18pm
Thnak you.
megalomania 31 Des 2013 @ 9:09am
Yeah I can live with that Havoc - commissioning is an aspect that didn't spring to mind and a very good point as well. So ignore my point regalmanemperor - as you say, olive oil is too generic so why not commiissioned statues indeed : D Nice work.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 31 Des 2013 @ 8:04am
@The Greco Roman world was famous for its statues. I originally thought olive oil, but that seemed to generic.
Havoc 31 Des 2013 @ 5:34am
@Megalomania Maybe the Forum allows the people to trade statues they commissioned themselves or looted on their glorious campaigns against the 'uncivilised world' ;)
h.rivet 31 Des 2013 @ 3:37am
Thanks for the mod
megalomania 31 Des 2013 @ 2:19am
Why does it give Roman statues? most Roman statues were either looted from Greece or Hellenized Asia Minor etc, or if they did originate from Rome - were odds on, carved by Greek artisans. Just thought something else would have been more suitable, such as a political benefit, seeing as the Forum Romanum was the political and judicial seat. I'm not trying to be picky - its a nice addition : ).
nathan_Oak 30 Des 2013 @ 11:34pm
So it is like the Oracle compinded with the indonesia UA and a trade route... Over powered much?
Grathocke 29 Des 2013 @ 4:04pm
never mind. I saw your update comment in the other Wonders as well,
Grathocke 29 Des 2013 @ 3:46pm
thank you! did tou apply the fix to your other Wonders as well? They are quite creative and different than any others I've seen.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 28 Des 2013 @ 2:09pm
updated
city doesnt disappear anymore
hectorgachetopata 28 Des 2013 @ 6:08am
It´s great, my city invisible
Grathocke 28 Des 2013 @ 5:24am
I see. no, it was built normally. It must be something with my other mods since I seem to be the only one with the problem.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 27 Des 2013 @ 1:02pm
@Grathocke
Also meant that if the wonder is built in only 1 turn
Grathocke 27 Des 2013 @ 10:24am
it isn't built on the first turn of the game, if that is what you mean. I guess I'll have to look into it and see if something else is interfering in some way.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 27 Des 2013 @ 7:45am
@nothing in the xml does that, its all BNW format, this happens with most modded wonders, if they are built on the first turn. Same thing also happens with me but always on the first turn
Grathocke 27 Des 2013 @ 5:55am
it disappeared right away. I tried reloading and that makes no difference. Also, just now built Persepolis and the Chinese one (forgot the name). Same thing happened as soon as they were built too. I had this problem once before with a mod that changed The Great Wall. When I asked about it I was told the mod was no longer supported and no one had a fix for it at the time.
regalmanemperor  [pembuat] 26 Des 2013 @ 6:38pm
@Grathocke, was it the first turn?
Grathocke 26 Des 2013 @ 2:50pm
built the Forum and my city became invisible. It was stilll clickable, but the city itself disappeared from the map.
