some cleanup on prices and sprites, tweaks to mining laser to do a VERY small amount of AoE damage to hull like it does ice to improve its visual cutting effect.

Added the Ammo Shelf Crate, a compact and slightly expensive 12 slot crate you can only put on ammo shelves similar to the explosive crate but can hold medium items like Heavy SSL rockets. It can also be used in fabricator/decon but while waterproof it has no special fireproofing or other features over a chemical/explosive crate.

Added mining laser, Changed Vortex ammo to look different, Mining laser ammo reclaims its original ammo sprite.
Heavy SSL rockets are now carried over the shoulder like railgun shells. Considering adding a special small steel crate that fits on shelves next patch to make reloading easier.


Mining laser is pretty straight forward it is a low power rapid pulse laser that is made to extract ore from the surrounding rock and ice, it has a lot of ammo per cell 600+ but does low damage with good penetration and slightly higher than coilgun energy use. The cells have to be recycled and the zinc plates can be reused in another capacitor. Its main feature is it as it says, mines ore by quickly detaching it similiar to a plasma cutter.

Heavy SSL and Rail Half Flak major fixes,

Heavy SSL higher velocity, AP properly goes through hull, HEDP embeds before exploding. Flak of both types goes off correctly.

Heavy SSL Metal Slug rocket similar to an autocannon shot that is cheap to produce without UEX to have a definitive low cost option similar to an autocannon round. Requires core filler such as lead, iron or copper.

Heavy SSL AP was C4 instead of UEX it does not have a C4 warhead so the cheaper UEX is fine.

HE and Flak were same, HE is plastic instead of iron as its the cheapest/standard round also wierd blade and possibly squash head whatever

hotfix 2 small errors, SSL heavy rockets are slightly smaller to look better in tubes and more apt to fit in a metal crate.

brought back physicorium halfshells pretty basic 2 shot but phys not to special, redid the old piercing half shell as a flak half shell. The flak shell having a much larger explosive charge and large amount of shrapnel comparable to multiple flak shells.

Old large SSL is back as the Heavy SSL a 12 shot tube fed super cavitating rocket launcher. Somewhat slow to fire and uses quite a bit of power for each shot combined with a compact package and complicated loader.

Rounds are made 2 at a time and stack to 4 in cabinets, they can also be transported 12 at a time in Metal crates or carried 1 in each hand and 1 in the hotbar.

Each ammo type for it is a specialized combination round:

HEDP a simple armor cracking rocket with a heavy impact and decent explosion radius, the bladed tip keeps it from glancing off hull due to steep angle shots!

Armor Piercing Delayed Impact is able to penetrate deeply into a enemy submarine or sea monster maximizing the amount of internal damage.

Dense Flak is a proxy fused rocket which produces both a decent sized kill radius similar to a small grenade and a massive wounding zone in a 360 degree arc ensuring even the smallest target is perforated with bleeding injuries.
