Slowly working in new units - Gurkhas, Pioneers, Uhlans.

= Uhlans not imported from Age of Darkness. Do a survey of what is in this mod, and have unwanted units - Vistula Lancers, Tatars - sent over to Project 1400.
= Gurkhas still need skins - they have no skin, and the English voice lines are not done. Possibly a stealth unit like Bandeirantes but with better LOS since they have good morale.
= Pioneers do not have balance.x rules - they are meant to be highly resistant to buildings, maybe.

Gatling gun is still WIP.......

- European, Middle Eastern factions need a more historically accorate model.
- Current model is being prepared to be sent to Thailand.

Nordenfelt Gun is WIP (Britain, Sweden) to find and test a new set of anims better suited to these new MG units..

Wooden Cannon - a primitive form of light artillery - should take over. Or should it?

More likely,

- A new unit, Laderkanon - will be developed for Sweden.
- Wooden Cannon and Coehorns are developed simultaneously.

Missing units?

- Gatling not properly optimised.
- Vietnam, Thailand missing units.
- Issues with Polish units - Jazda versus Uhlans - is uresolved.
- Russian and Chinese cavalry system is not resolved.

Tests with Gatling seem to indicate that ryder25 fixed the issue with nodes - the game now recognises custom ammo nodes. However that still does not mean we are done.

- Infantry anims for Gatling are too goofy when firing. Suggest change them.
- Advisable to create Nordenfelt gun for Sweden and Britain - this unit should use the old rocket / organ gun animations as used by Ribault or Improved Volley Gun.

So tired.

Fixed icon for SIEGEMORTAR.

No matter what I try, it is impossible to get the Supergun to animate properly. The gun remains stubbornly facing the wrong way, shooting the wrong kind of projectile. It will not EVEN face the enemy it's attacking.

In contrast, the vanilla AA installations continue to frustrate me with how they're always working properly.

Whatever hopes I had for my mods, they may need reworking in design soon.

EDIT: This time, testing with the Scout Balloons proved what I suspected all along: Supergun animations are hard coded, Rise of Nations will NOT recognise animations for turreted unit attacks, not unless the buildings are marked as "Z6".

A crash happened when balloons were attacked, possibly destroyed. I must see to this.
