The best optimization mod



Performance Gains
You can expect a 10-20% gain in the very first year compared to vanilla, in 1840 on my machine the game was running 15-25% faster compared to vanilla, and as said before the gain will only increase the longer the game runs

Compatibility
98% of mods will work with this, the only ones that might not work are ones that touch base game pop type files, however even if they touch the poptype files there shouldnt really be any issues

How
All ai pops get merged into the primary culture and religion, but the players pops are not. The mod also merges a few irrelevant nations if a player is not on them like the little 1 state african nations by lake victoria.
It also increases the consolidation of random pop groups (like two different groups of the same pop) in all nations.

When using this mod, the debuff when using the banish opponents command will last for 150 years. I would be happy if you could fix this.

hi when i play with this mod enabled power bloc leverage from economic dependence (the leverage value, not the dependence value) is stuck at 0, so even if i have like 5 economic dependence score on someone i dont get any leverage. it works normally when i disable the mod (and i dont have any others installed). the only dlcs i have are sphere of influence and colossus of the south (and the american buildings pack lol), i really hope u can fix this issue :)

3. once again name a single one thats actually broken. very simple to do yet you havent done it. also what are you on about with the ai mod being worse then vanilla in 1900? im pretty sure i linked a yt video and a reddit post comparing kai vanilla and smarter. which smarter was at the top for the entire time and not by a small amount

nobody cares your leaving comments. its the delusional arguing that gets people lmao, ive already stated i dont care about the merged culture and religion for ai, anyone who uses the mod clearly doesnt care either. not sure why you cant just move on like the people who read "All ai pops get merged into the primary culture and religion" move on.

smh if i was gonna delete you comments why would i bother takin a screen shot and uploading it.

1. this mod is taking two of caracus's mods and slightly tweaking yeet pop fragments, and heavily changing consolidated nations making it so players dont notice what nations got merged all of that is 3 files 2 events and 1 onaction. the 11 other file changes are all mine. its not a simple repackage and the point of the mod is to not change much so people dont notice they have it on

2. the vast majority of this mod is deleting or modifying performance hogs most of which are obscure things no one will notice with the biggest one being the culture and religion merge for ai. and it optimizes the game so i called it an optimization mod, when testing vanilla took 460ish seconds to run 4 years and this took 390ish. optimization.

3) This mod is unlikely to cause CTDs with other mods of course, but a lot of flavor mods or politics mods and others won't work properly or have broken content because you've made all of India protestant and British and shit like that. I couldn't and still can't be bothered to go through and link you mods but it should be pretty fucking obvious. That the author doesn't care is unsurprising, given how incredibly stupid his approach to his AI mod is - such that it actually performs worse than vanilla past 1900.

On another note, yes I am leaving comments in the comment section of a mod. What a bizarre concept. It of course would be silly to argue here, which none of you good people are doing, of course. It'd also be silly to delete my comments and then message me on discord harrasing me about this, like this loser author.

I have reasons, I just couldn't be bothered breaking it down and labouring points I've already made especially when they are dismissed for dumb reasons, given he only considers this messing up other mods if it causes them to CTD.

1) This mod is mostly just taking 2 other mods by other people, barely changing anything and repackaging it.

2) Removing effectively all of the world's cultural and religious complexity, as well as some countries, is a massive game balance adjustment. At least the mods he took from make this clear in the title. Too many people just read the titles or don't understand how these things work and just see "performance/optimisation mod" and think it magically makes the game better without deleting things, as if there was a "fast_mode = yes" function. The most substantial part of this mod is simply deleting things. That's a weird thing to package as "optimization".
