Consolidated Nations - A Performance Mod

Description
Halfs the amount of tags present one week into the game to boost performance. While trying to keep gameplay impact as little as possible

Time Savings:
1.9.5 On my (high end) 9950X3D CPU from 1.1.1836 to 1.1.1840 it took:
- unmodded: 4m 38s
- with the mod: 3m 46s

-> it took 81% of the time aka which means its about 24% faster
The worse your gaming rig is the faster this mod should make you.


Hint:
- If you do not like how a region is consolidated. You can just disable that region in the GAME RULES.
- The consolidation happens one week into the game to give the rest of the game time to initialize stuff.

Just test it yourself:
- Just run it once with and once without this mod and compare the time

If you find the tradeoff between time and gameplay impact good, then keep it, otherwise just yeet the mod.

Out of curiosity, please let me know the time diff in the comments!

Why would you use it:
- Unsatified with the performance?
- Do you value your time?
- Frustrated you have to declare 10 wars over 15 years to unify the Dutch East Indies for example?

Why wouldnt you use it:
- You really want to see those tiny tags even if you have no interaction with them over the game duration

@ab128 i dont recall that being changed easily. The formula that distributes the power rankings is not accessible. You would probable have to tweak baseline prestige of other countries to make it viable in the start.
Its not something for this mod im afraid. Also since this is modular how much you consolidate.

I think your best shot would be to experiment in a mod that just tweaks prestige generation.

country ranking system gets nuked after consolidation, for example spain and japan are minor power (sometimes prussia too), is there any way to make up for that, since power blocs require minor powers to gain progress

Uh no Im afraid your mod did not update. I fixed that issue with the update to 1.10 days ago.
I just booted up the game and can confirm it works as intended after said update.

@Big Momma that happened less with consolidation in prior patches but they made the ai smarter in that regard which in itself is a good thing.

If you dont like Germany having better odds then I would encourage you to turn the consolidation for Germany off in the rules.

German empire gets formed every time with this mod
