Tome Hero Skills

Description
Tome Skill Tree
This mod adds unlockable hero skills based on the unit enchantment spells gained from unlocking skills. Once the Tome is unlocked, that skill should now be available for a hero to learn.

For existing saves, the Skill Tree should appear the turn after it was installed.

Warrior Skills (1st Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Fighter Units

Defender Skills (2nd Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Shield Units

Elementalist Skills (3rd Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Battle Mage Units

Warlock Skills (3rd Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Battle Mage Units

Ritualist Skills (4th Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Support Units

Ranger Skills (5th Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Ranged or Skirmisher Units

Death Knight Skills (6th Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Fighter or Battle Mage Units

Spellblade Skills (7th Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Fighter or Battle Mage Units

Battlesaint Skills (No Image)
  • Unit Enchantments that applied to Defender or Support Units

Notes on Force of Nature Skill
  • Has the same additional requirements of the spell, so will need Dragon or Plant major transformation to get the skill or be calvary.
  • The availability of the skill will be determined at the next turn, and will be removed if the unit longer meets criteria

Notes on Undead Resentment Skill
  • Has the same additional requirements of the spell, so will need Undead major transformation to get the skill.
  • The availability of the skill will be determined at the next turn, and will be removed if the unit longer meets criteria

Note on DLC
  • The DLC skills show in the UI but since they are tied to the Tome unlocks they just will never be available to use. So shouldnt cause problems with missing DLC

Mod Compatibility

Special thanks to Lord Vectra for the initial scrolling logic on Skill Trees

Hi, Tome of Cycles enchantment Blooming Projectiles does not appear on the enchantment wheel. There is a Blades of Decay enchantment.

Yes, the only mod classes supported should be those in the ones listed in the Mod Compatibility section

Does this mod need to include each modded class to work? I've noticed it doesn't work for Assassins, but they show up. I just can't select any of them.

Yes Ai can learn these skills

does Ai also use these tome skills?

It is just base & dlc enchantments. There unfortunately isnt a way to set it up automatically to pull in mod tomes

Does this automatically add other mod's skills to the list, or is it only base/dlc spells

tried updating and relaunching the game just now and got it on ritualist and only able to use on himself. hmmm hate to be a pain but ill try a new game with ritualist and see if the problem persists

@matenkai I was able to lean the "Staves of Mending" skill on a Battlesaint, and the hero was able to use Mending Touch on itself, other unites, and other heroes.
