[UEM] Floors N Stuff - Insect Jelly

->IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!<-
This mod still works completely fine and will continue to do so for those using the mod on 1.5. I am considering this mod feature complete for now.
This specific workshop post will not receive any more updates.

In the event I decide to do another insect-themed playthrough, I will likely continue development of this mod by splitting it into two separate mods.
1. Floors N Stuff - Insect Jelly: Will contain jelly floors, walls, and the material stats for jelly as a stuffable material.
2. Hive Expansion - Structures: Will contain the new hive buildings from this mod, as well as any more I intend to add.

I will make a complete guide for how to safely transition from this mod to the new ones once they are released. Do not worry.



This mod modifies insect jelly into a stuffable material and adds new jelly floors.

I have not tested this mod without the DLCs installed. If you attempt to use this without the DLCs installed, know that some parts may not function correctly. In theory, it should work fine without royalty, and biotech. It may throw some errors if Ideology is absent now requires the Ideology DLC. Please let me know if you experience issues related to missing a DLC, and I will attempt to patch them.

It works fine without Anomaly.




























There are currently no known issues.

This mod has been tested in vanilla and multiple combinations of the supported mods. If you encounter any problems caused by this mod, please let me know.

I managed to load this into a extremely heavy modded pack. All the floors worked just fine which is what I was here for, I didn't actually check any of the buildings though lol.

Maybe someone should check this mod without a pile of others to see if it works. I'll do it if nobody else does by the time I get some time

sadly the game in save or new colony refused to load though I was trying a batach of old mods that got updated recently so i'm still sorting through those to find the culprit may be a bit before i can try this one again

Sounds like it's at least loading okay then. Try using the Acid Nodule. That's the only thing in this mod that uses C# to work, so it's the most likely thing to be broken.

I tryed got 1 red error with VFE-I2 more Hives and a tone of yellows related to 1.5 version tag and I'm running about 286 mods but still not my whole list

Have any of you actually tried using it in 1.6 yet? The vast majority of it should still be working.

- If you are seriously interested in learning how to mod, I recommend going to the Official Rimworld Discord Server. They have tons of resources and helpful people there who can help you get started.

So questions :
- do you allow somebody to retake your mod andd update it ?
- how I could update this mod from 1.5 to 1.6 ? which tools I need ? how to check it, and post it on steam worksjop ?

This mod will not be updated. I took my PC to a repair shop and the technician wiped my data drive without telling me, so all of my modding files are gone. There are a lot of other mods I had in progress that are much higher priority than this one.

So basically, no plans currently. That might change later, but no guarantee.

As far as I know though, the only thing that might be broken is the acid nodule. Pretty sure everything else was just XML, so it should still work unless something changed on VE's side.
