This mod can be installed mid-game.
Compatible with game version 1.10.
Note that this mod generally doesn't require updates for new game versions.

Overview

A simple tweak of pop needs for free movement and communication, so your well-functioning railway system and income balance won't be destroyed anymore when the first automobile appears in the market (especially when you play as a large country and have a lot of railways).

Details

By vanilla rules, automobiles can fulfill up to 100% of the needs for free movement, now it can only fulfill up to 50%. So the rest 50% can only be fulfilled by transportation, which is mostly produced by railway.
By vanilla rules, telephones can fulfill up to 100% of the needs for communication, now it can only fulfill up to 50%. So the rest 50% can only be fulfilled by transportation, which is mostly produced by railway.

Compatibility

Incompatible with mods that modify pop needs for "free movement" and "communication".

This should still work 1.9.7. I looked at the mod. It doesn't change anything that would be incompatible. It's basically just 4 little edits that will overwrite the base game pop needs. Unless they radically change pop needs, this mod should remain forward compatible.

1.可以先检查一下是否安装了其它修改人群需求的mod，例如各类型调整经济和生产的mod。
2.禁用所有其它mod后，观察启动该mod和禁止该mod时运力需求的变化。
3.这个mod并不会让铁路的理论产值变高，也不会禁止人群消费汽车，仅仅是调整汽车和运力消费量的比例，如果铁路本就过度规划，例如解锁先进生产方式前便过度修建，后期仍会严重亏损。
