Overview
After learning all the technologies, crafted best armor and achieved "extremely impressive"+ state of all the main rooms, I got the feeling that we completed game, so the interest were going down. I decided to find something to delay game end.

Except mods, I highly recommend to play with Biotech DLC because it directly accomplishes the goals of the pack and indirectly expand vanilla mechanics like prisoning and medicine. I tell more about it below.

Main goals of pack
  • Add new functional buildings to make the colony bigger
  • Add new farms
  • Save vanilla mechanics to prevent forgetting how to manage a colony without mods
  • Try to avoid replacing vanilla items to save the possibility to remove mod without disappering some common things

Mode types
  • main - used directly to follow the goals of the pack
  • addon - used to advance some of main mods
  • utility - completely optional, just helpful things

DLCs

Biotech
New rooms: Blood farm; Genetic laboratory; Mech factory; School; Maternity hospital; Crypts for sleeping vampires;
Info: The only DLC we tried. It adds some new mutant-fractions with special genes (like vampires, werewolves or pigmans). You better read about it in original description, but except that, it really improve prison mechanic by adding options to farm genes from prisoners or to get blood from them to feed vampires.
If you want a giant genetic laboratory, you will probably need Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power to produce enough energy

Mods

Dubs Bad Hygiene
Type: main
New rooms: Tons of bathrooms; Water station; Sauna with pool / jacuzzi; Laundry
Info: Mods highly affects whole gameplay by adding hygiene and thirst(optional) needs. You will have to build water fountains, toilets and showers everywhere. Also great possibility to add reality to your pawns houses.
It also adds sewage system so you could collect fecales to produce fertilizer, adds water threatment methods, adds water temperature and boilers. And also conditioning system, so you will make air-intput and air-output and transfer 'temperature' by pipes.



Hospitality
WARNING: This is least stable mod, it triggers desyncs when guests arriving, but it allows to add large new buildings, so we decided to play with it anyway
Type: main
New rooms: Hotel
Info: Adds possibility to get money from guests for living in hotel rooms, you can build multiple hotels with different prices depends on rooms quality. Pawns with high social skills can entertain guests, forming their estimates, as a result, if average guest estimates will be hight enough, you will boost goodwill. Overall, this mod allow you to closely interact with another factions, reqruit pawns from there, request caravans more often.

Type: addon for Hospitality

Info: Adds possibility to get money from guests by gambling



Hospitality: Spa
Type: addon for Hospitality and Dubs Bad Hygiene
Info: Adds possibility to get money from guests for using your saunas / pool / jacuzzi



Vanilla Cooking Expanded
Type: main
New rooms: Bigger kitchen
Info: Adds new dishes and tools to cook, so you will probably need to expand your kitchen or event make few rooms



Vanilla Brewing Expanded
Type: main
New rooms: Alcohol factory
Info: Adds the possibility to make a large amount of alcohol drinks with different ways of production. Usable in mid-game due to low cost, but requires a lot of space to scale production



Vanilla Furniture Expanded
Type: main
New rooms: Casino; Armory
Info: Adds royal and bar furniture to make some more different/effective rooms. Also adds roulette table to build casino



Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power
Type: addon for Vanilla Furniture Expanded
Info: For me, it is must-have for Biotech and probably for Dubs Bad Hygiene. Because they add new electricity-consumers, but vanilla generators are quite limited (in late-game I consume ~60k power per day)

Info: Small mod which allows pawns with high social skills to use special couch to solve another pawns social problems (like debuf for killing prisoner or dead son)



InfestationBait
Type: main
New rooms: Freezer for unexpected insects spawn (should has light and toggle for normal temperature)
Info: Mod to define place for infestation event by putting there bait of insect jelly.



Realistic Rooms Rewritten
Type: utility
Info: Mod to reduce room size to be impressive and to reduce incredible debuff from dirt. It allows to make great rooms without tons of empty spaces.



Power Tab 2
Type: utility
Info: Mod to control balance of your energy. It shows all the producer/consumer and totals, so you can detect if you need to create more power-producers or toggle something off



Replace Stuff
Type: utility
Info: Mod to replace walls/doors without ordering deconstructing. Builders do deconstruct tasks in the latest priority, so you have to control each step of build to do it faster. With this mod pawns can handle it on their own
