Beskrivning
This mod is meant to be used alongside my Extended Tech Tree Mod and will not function properly without it. If you are looking for the standard version of Mineable Dwarf Planets, you can get it here https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2893554386 . The Extended Tech Tree Mod can be found here https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2946411143

Please use either this version or the original version as they are not meant to be used at the same time. Except for the new resources, it is identical to the original Mineable Dwarf Planets.

Because this version has the extra resources, mining the modified dwarf planets will be a bit more profitable. I added the Ω sign to make it easier to see whether or not this is the expansion for the Extended Tech Tree mod or the standalone default version of this mod.

Adds a mineable dwarf planet to each system which also includes the new resources Silver and Letalium.

Essentially a gigantic asteroid containing custom resource nodes dropping mostly Iron AND Copper, but often also some Tritanium, Carbon, Uranium, Silver, Gold (and trace amounts of Letalium and Diamonds) it requires considerable effort to mine down if only due to the sheer size of the dwarf planet compared to standard-sized asteroids.

It spawns in a somewhat similar way that other rare asteroids are spawned in so finding it goes in a similar fashion. Once you approach a dwarf planet close enough, a question mark will appear just like with any other discoverable asteroid so you can get to its exact location. (Unfortunately it is currently impossible to add customized exploration missions to the game, so this is the best I can do for now)

I've set it to spawn somewhat outside of the asteroid belt, a bit out of the way of where most of the default stuff is happening. I aimed to find a balance between the asteroid's massive size and keeping the graphics nice along with optimizing its core gameplay features. Default asteroids are not affected in any way.

Mining the dwarf planet can offer a new, challenging and profitable mining experience :). Or if you want you can perhaps just go dig a hole in it and build a space station inside of the dwarf planet. Or go dig a larger hole and put 10 space stations inside the dwarf planet if you want to. Download the mod, find the dwarf planet and go wild :P

thats good but it takes a lot of resources to build motherships which is why id just use this as a way to build up my fleet
SirCampalot  [skapare] 14 sep @ 10:21
@Wolfpackalpha8: I use a mothership for that, which has all of the fabricators and stored resources for fabricating new ships and which can keep up with the rest of the fleet (usually near my mining fleet).

by base i mean something i can go to dump all my resources at while it prints all the ships i need for me

@Wolfpackalpha8: You can figure out the approximate size of the map by flying to the edge of the map, pausing the game, then plotting a course to the opposive side of the map. It should tell you the distance of your journey and the approximate size of the map.

I never done this, so I don't know the size of the map from top of my head. It is also beyond the scope of this mod.

Building bases isn't much of a thing in this game as you will end up having to either move the base with you when you travel to the next star system (meaning it will have to move to the hyperjump relay, making it perhaps more a ship than a base), or you will have to leave it behind.
You can if you want to, but personally I prefer to just mine the dwarf planet down completely for its riches.

so how big is this compared to the rest of the map
cause i want to build a base inside one of these now as it seems like it could be a very good idea

I've uploaded the previous version of this mod to this page: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3565830451

It's provided as-is for people who want to remain with Cosmoteer 0.30.0.
SirCampalot  [skapare] 10 sep @ 1:41
Version 1.5.0

Updated to work with Cosmoteer version 0.30.1.
Due to the nature of the Cosmoteer 0.30.1 update, previous versions of Cosmoteer are no longer supported by this mod.

@SirCampalot:Nice. Thank you again

@Valhalla: I've just patched Extended Tech Tree Mod again to prevent the game from disabling it.
But whatever fixed your issue, the most important thing is it is working again now.

I've also made changes to the updates now to help prevent similar issues in the foreseeable future.

I have always enabled "Extended Tech Tree Mod", so it's not caused by this. But just now it seemed that everything was normal again, but I didn't make any changes, so this is very strange. Anyway, thank you.
