Description
This mod is meant to be used alongside my Extended Tech Tree Mod and will not function properly without it. If you are looking for the standard version of Mineable Dwarf Planets, you can get it here https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2893554386 . The Extended Tech Tree Mod can be found here https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2946411143

Please use either this version or the original version as they are not meant to be used at the same time. Except for the new resources, it is identical to the original Mineable Dwarf Planets.

Because this version has the extra resources, mining the modified dwarf planets will be a bit more profitable. I added the Ω sign to make it easier to see whether or not this is the expansion for the Extended Tech Tree mod or the standalone default version of this mod.

Adds a mineable dwarf planet to each system which also includes the new resources Silver and Letalium.

Essentially a gigantic asteroid containing custom resource nodes dropping mostly Iron AND Copper, but often also some Tritanium, Carbon, Uranium, Silver, Gold (and trace amounts of Letalium and Diamonds) it requires considerable effort to mine down if only due to the sheer size of the dwarf planet compared to standard-sized asteroids.

It spawns in a somewhat similar way that other rare asteroids are spawned in so finding it goes in a similar fashion. Once you approach a dwarf planet close enough, a question mark will appear just like with any other discoverable asteroid so you can get to its exact location. (Unfortunately it is currently impossible to add customized exploration missions to the game, so this is the best I can do for now)

I've set it to spawn somewhat outside of the asteroid belt, a bit out of the way of where most of the default stuff is happening. I aimed to find a balance between the asteroid's massive size and keeping the graphics nice along with optimizing its core gameplay features. Default asteroids are not affected in any way.

Mining the dwarf planet can offer a new, challenging and profitable mining experience :). Or if you want you can perhaps just go dig a hole in it and build a space station inside of the dwarf planet. Or go dig a larger hole and put 10 space stations inside the dwarf planet if you want to. Download the mod, find the dwarf planet and go wild :P

@Valhalla: I've just patched Extended Tech Tree Mod again to prevent the game from disabling it.
But whatever fixed your issue, the most important thing is it is working again now.

I've also made changes to the updates now to help prevent similar issues in the foreseeable future.

I have always enabled "Extended Tech Tree Mod", so it's not caused by this. But just now it seemed that everything was normal again, but I didn't make any changes, so this is very strange. Anyway, thank you.

@Valhalla: Cosmoteer version 0.30.0a disabled a lot of mods AGAIN.
I've spend the last 2 1/2 hours patching my mods again.

Silver means the game probably disabled Extended Tech Tree Mod on your modlist. Please make sure it is activated.

I'm not sure which mod caused it, but an error occurred right after the update, indicating that "silver" couldn't be found (it was normal a few hours ago).

Version 1.4.3a

Updated version number to prevent Cosmoteer from complaining about supposedly incompabible mod, even though the mod works just fine.

Also prepatched this mod to prevent Cosmoteer from complaining again when Cosmoteer 0.30.0b, 0.30.0c, 0.30.0d, 0.30.0e, 0.30.0f, 0.30.0g, 0.30.0h, 0.30.1, 0.30.2 and 0.31.0 get released.

The reason why it went from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3a is to remain synchronous version number with the non-ETTM version of Mineable Dwarf Planets.

Cosmoteer isn't complete without your mods; really appreciate them!

(part 2 because too long)
The standard MDP will have a spawn chance of 50% with the sandy type and rocky type each having a spawn chance of 25% (for 100% total).

I'm happy to have brought more diversity to the Mineable Dwarf Planets mod, the new added types will help make career mode a bit more interesting and diverse :)

The addons for MDPs will have to be modified separately though, so until then these will spawn just the standard MDP types.
All 3 types of MDP have the same name, so if you want to identify which type it is you'll have to use Mark 1 Eyeball

v1.4.2 adds 2 new types of Mineable Dwarf Planets that have a brand new feature I've recently been experimenting with.
The new MDPs feature more prominent stratification (meaning they have multiple layers of different materials).
One of the 2 MDPs is like the standard one, but its outer layer consist of softer more sandy material that is somewhat easier to mine, but the outer layer contains fewer rare resources.
The other new type of MDP is the same as a standard MDP, but features a 'small' rocky core which has increased rare resources.

So if you find a sandy MDP you'll get a bit less loot and if you find one with a rocky core you'll get a bit more :)
