Rawkinrex Starbound Mod Collection

A mod collection for Starbound that adds QOL Improvements and is highlighted by including the following mods.

  • New races and everything you need to use them.

  • Racial Intros mod adds an intro mission for all the non-human basic races (Apex, Avian,Floran, Glitch, Hylotl and Novakid). Complete with: New Instance Worlds, Radio Messages, Quest dialog, New NPCs and Cinematics.

  • Story Disabler doesn't just make everything automatically unlocked without gating it behind progressing through the storyline; it outright purges the game's story and makes it completely and utterly inaccessible in any shape or form. You start with a fully repaired ship and the coordinates to the Outpost, Esther does not contact you, no Ancient Gates spawn in Lush worlds, and the Ruin has already long been defeated. For all intents and purposes, you are now just a regular person exploring the universe long after the hero of Starbound completed their journey.

  • More Sensible Tweaks is a series of mods aiming to make the game more realistically plausible and less railroaded. Consisting of Scondary Biome Distribution, Planetary Dungeon Distribution and Jungle and Scorched Tiering mods. Requires Story Disabler mods.

  • Tanz Lighting Overhaul makes every light cast shadows. This makes some areas darker if the light is blocked by a wall / object.

  • BK3K Inventory Mod is an Inventory Mod that adds 10 tab catagories to your inventory screen allowing item sorting based on tab categories. Each tabbed page has a 16x15 slot count for a total of 240 slots per tab. Any item which is not sorted will end up in the backpack icon in the upper right of the Inventory Screen.

  • Betabound is a base-game enhancement mod which adds tons of content consistent with the Starbound vision throughout the entire game-- from beginning to end! Although Betabound certainly has a strong presence throughout the game, it is not an overhaul mod and will never outright replace content from Starbound.

  • Race Traits adds unique differences between all the vanilla races of Starbound. The Apex can be immune to cold! The Avians take less fall damage! Each unique stat change and difference means an entirely different playthrough each time! You can either flee from your weaknesses..or buff yourself with resistance augments that come with the vanilla game! Supports all added races in this modpack.

  • Project Ancient Cosmos is a large Endgame expansion, dealing with many ideas I've had for over a year and centering around the new Tier 7 startype, the Black Hole, this mod adds in many new things to the base game without changing the mechanics much if at all.

  • Enhanced Storage (hoarder edition) is a quality of life mod which improves the whole storage system of Starbound.

  • Lettered Ores - Adds a small letter colored like the ore itself above each ore type, to make them better recognizable.

  • Illuminated Ores - Makes every ore in game glow slightly, the color depending on the ore type.
