Merchants, sell all sorts of useful items and equipment, and blacksmiths reinforce and repair equipment.

Sen's Fortress
At the very top of the fortress is a broken bridge which can be jumped across. It is not an easy jump, best to keep to the left hand side for extra foot space. The fall is not fatal, just very frustrating.

Just before the entrance to Blighttown.

Firelink Shrine
The bottom of the aqueduct bridge, next to the corpse which contains a Ring of Sacrifice. He moves here only after you have rung both Bells of Awakening (after defeating the Bell Gargoyles and Chaos Witch Quelaag)


1000 Souls

• Sells unique boss armors after you defeated certain bosses
  
• Sells the Master Key after he moved to Firelink Shrine

Undead Asylum
Snuggly's nest is located outside the Undead Asylum. Although Snuggly will be there when you begin at the Undead Asylum.
It will be on the left about halfway between your start point and the four torch-wielding Hollows, on a ledge off to the side (when you return to the Undead Asylum). Don't be confused by the nest used to transfer between the Undead Asylum and Firelink Shrine. When you find the right nest, you will hear Snuggly speaking. This nest is much smaller and off on a precarious ledge.

• Drop items in the nest one at a time, then leave and return to Undead Asylum (or just quit and reload the save file)
  
• Items must be inside the nest to register.
  
• Dropping multiple items will result in lost items without reward.
  
• All trades are available only once per play-through.

New Londo Ruins
Before defeating The Four Kings, he is found on top of a building in the first part of New Londo Ruins.

Firelink Shrine
After defeating The Four Kings, return to his location and talk to him again. Afterwards he will be in Firelink Shrine.


Key to the Seal
1000 Souls

• Ingward can remove your curse for the cost of one Soft Humanity. Use the "Remove Curse" option on his dialogue menu.
  
• Access to the Key to the Seal, which is needed to open a door to provide access to the control that will drain the water in the lower levels towards the Valley of Drakes. This makes it possible to access the lower levels of the New Londo Ruins which in turn provides access to the The Four Kings area boss.

Undead Parish
Appears on the bottom floor of the bell tower at the top of the Undead Church in Undead Parish after ringing the bell.

Book of the Guilty
1-2 Twin Humanities

• He can absolve your sins for the cost of 500 per soul level. Use the "Request Absolution" option on his dialogue menu. See Absolution for more information.
  
• Teaches the "Well! What is it?" Gesture.

The Catacombs
He stands next to the lever of the second spiked bridge. He only appears in the Catacombs only if Rhea of Thorolund and her company has not gone there and before you kill Pinwheel. After either of those occur, he moves to the Tomb. He may try to flip the bridge the first time you walk across it.

Tomb of the Giants
He stands next to the 1st bonfire

Firelink Shrine
If he is not hostile and he is still alive, he squats down by a wall closest to the Catacombs after you have killed Gravelord Nito


4 Humanity (regardless if you have gotten any humanity from him already)
Crescent Axe (regardless if you bought it from him already)

• If you said "Yes" that you are a cleric, the next time you talk to him, he becomes hostile. If you said "No" that you are not a cleric, the next time you talk to him, he asks if his trickery caused you any trouble. If you answer "Yes", he gives you a Humanity. Any other response nets you nothing.
  
• In Tomb of the Giants, If you have not talked to him in the Catacombs, he will ask if you are a Cleric. He points to treasure visible from his position, and if you walk towards the ledge to take a closer look, he will kick you down into the pit. If you said "Yes" that you are a cleric, the next time you talk to him, he becomes hostile. If you said "No" that you are not a cleric, the next time you talk to him, he asks for your forgiveness. If you answer "No", he gives you a Twin Humanities. If you do choose to forgive him by saying "Yes", he will deploy prism stones further along the passage that highlights the route to a hidden bonfire.

Darkroot Garden
Near the ruins where Alvina is sitting in the window. You must be in the Forest Hunter covenant for him to appear. He won't sell you weapons until meet him in Blighttown.
His bodyguard is right behind him, in the little pocket between the cliff and the wall.

Blighttown
As a merchant. His location will be in the swamp, in front of the waterwheel elevator.

• Player must still be in the Forest Hunter covenant.
  
• Player must speak to Shiva in the forest before he will appear in Blighttown

His bodyguard is behind the wall where Shiva is leaning against.

Undead Burg
Once you have the Basement Key you will be able to enter the locked door on the Hellkite Dragon bridge. Go through the door and work your way towards the final tower (opposite the door to The Depths) where a single Hollow archer is up on a platform. The merchant is in the aqueduct tunnel nearby.

Undead Burg
From the Bonfire, exit out of the bonfire room and kill the Undead Soldier with the crossbow and the three Armored Hollows on the area below to the right. Kill the two Undead Soldiers with spears on the opposite roof top area. Smash the crates (in the spear soldier area) around the stairs going down. The merchant is out of the door opposite to the bottom of the stairs on a ledge.

He acts as a merchant in Royal Wood, and as an invading Black Phantom in the Oolacile Township.

Royal Wood
After Knight Artorias's arena, facing the Oolacile Township, turn left and go up the stairs opposite to Battle of Stoicism Gazebo. Eventually you'll reach the hole in the ground, turn right here and cross the bridge leading to the door. To open it you'll need Crest Key found during Oolacile Township exploration.

• If you've been down to see Kalameet, you can talk to him to get him cripple the dragon, allowing you to fight Kalameet on the ground.

• After killing Kalameet, Gough will thank the player and give him his greatbow.

Oolacile Sanctuary
At the left side of the sanctuary wall (when facing the path to the Royal Wood)


3 Elizabeth's Mushrooms (if not already gifted)

• 5 Gold Pine resin
  
• If you have rescued Dusk of Oolacile but have not bought all of her spells, then Elizabeth will sell the remaining ones.
  
• Gifts you Elizabeth's Mushroom x3 after you killed Manus, Father of the Abyss.

Lower Undead Burg
In a locked room at the bottom of the Undead Burg. To reach the bottom the player can unlock the door (using the Residence Key) next to the dragon bridge, after the Taurus Demon boss battle. After climbing down the long ladder, keep going forward, descending the staircase where you might be attacked by two Undead Attack Dogs. After the staircase, make a U-turn to the right, then hug the left wall. You'll hear Griggs shouting for help when you're near the correct door. The door to Griggs is opened with the Residence Key. Unlock the door and go into the room and talk to Griggs.

Firelink Shrine
Near the wall just before the cliff path leading up to the Undead Burg.

Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring

• Sells basic Sorceries and Sorcery-related items only when your INT stat is at least 10 points.
  
• After Logan left to the Duke's Archives, he'll sell some of Logan's sorceries

Sen's Fortress
In a hidden area behind a sleeping Serpent Soldier. You need to adjust the boulder dispatch machine so that it will smash a wall with a guard leaning against it. He is locked inside one of the hanging cages, to open it you need the Cage Key, which is found near the Crestfallen Merchant. Or, you can also unlock his cell with Master Key. Once freed, he will move to the Firelink Shrine.

Firelink Shrine
He will sell you some of his spells once he arrives here, but only if your Intelligence is at least 15. He'll leave some time after acquiring the Lordvessel.

The Duke's Archives
The room entrance is near the tall ladder and the shortcut lever. You do not need to meet the Intelligence requirement to purchase his spells at this location. After you have defeated Seath the Scaleless and have bought all his spells, talk to him several times, and you'll notice that he's clearly gone mad.


Big Hat
Tin Crystallization Catalyst
White Dragon Breath (only after you kill Seath the Scaleless)

• Note that he only drop items if you kill him after a certain point in the game. Killing him immediately in Sen's Fortress or Firelink Shrine will result in no drops.
  
• If you kill him after he goes crazy in in Seath's room, the chest containing the Big Hat's Set and the Logan's Catalyst will appear in book room.

Darkroot Basin
Her summon sign is right at the edge of the lake where the Hydra was located, a few feet away from the corpse holding the Knight Set, but only after killing the Hydra and defeating the Golden Crystal Golem she is captured in.

• Teaches "Proper Bow" Gesture.
  
• After being summoned for the first time, the Antiquated armor set can be found near where you fought the Golden Crystal Golem.
  
• You don't need to be in human form to summon her after saving her.

Firelink Shrine
Among the ruins up to the right in a room leading towards the Undead Parish shortcut lift.


2 Humanities
Ivory Talisman (Storyline dependent)

• Gifts a Copper Coin after talking to him the second time.
  
• Offers information about the Undead Mission for 100 souls per soul level.
  
• Allows you to join Way of White covenant.
  
• Teaches "Shrug" Gesture.

Firelink Shrine
She, along with Vince and Nico of Thorolund, appears next to Petrus after Capra Demon is defeated. Encountering Pinwheel moves them to the Tomb.

Tomb of the Giants
She lies in the pit which Patches kicks you down, assuming her and her company moved from Firelink Shrine. After killing them, talk to her, she then moves to the altar of Undead Parish church.

Undead Parish
While she prays in front of the altar, she dies after the death of any two following bosses: the Gaping Dragon, Bell Gargoyles, Priscilla, Sif, Nito, Quelaag, the Bed of Chaos, Iron Golem, Ornstein and Smough, The Four Kings, and Seath. To save her, before killing any of the two aforementioned bosses, you either have to kill Petrus, or buy all of her miracles and her Divine Blessing.


7 Humanity
Ivory Talisman

• 1 Divine Blessing
  
• Gifts Replenishment miracle after you kill the Hollowed Vince and Nico in Tomb of the Giants.
  
• Allows you to join Way of White covenant.
  
• Teaches the "Prayer" gesture.

Quelaag's Domain
One floor below the Bell of Awakening, there's an illusory wall. Behind the illusory wall is the Daughter of Chaos bonfire. He's in that room with Quelaag's Sister.


No Souls, but the larvae will drop their usual amount.
2 Egg Vermifuge

• Gives you an Egg Vermifuge after you gain his trust.
  
• If your Intelligence is at least 11, he will give you a Pyromancy Flame after you gain his trust.
  
• Can upgrade the Pyromancy Flame after you talked to Quelaag's Sister. He cannot ascend a Pyromancy Flame or upgrade an Ascended Pyromancy Flame.

The Depths
Located in a room near the second butcher. After taking care of the first butcher, go up the stairs after the area that is swamped with water. Trapped inside a barrel, Laurentius is located in a room to the left. Roll into the barrels to safely release him.

Firelink Shrine
After you rescued him, he'll sit on the ground near the entrance to Frampt.


1000 Souls

• When your starting class is not a Pyromancer, he'll share his Pyromancy Flame with you.
  
• He upgrades the Pyromancy Flame up to +15.

Blighttown
From the crude elevator in the swamp area, head towards Quelaag's Domain (to your right). Near the Cragspider, you'll see a pillar island with a corpse containing an item.


Fire Tempest (only if is killed before killing the Bed of Chaos)

• She will appear if you, or another player (invader or co-op summon) in Blighttown, Depths, entrance to New Londo Ruins, Demon Firesage boss room have a +10 Pyromancy Flame or higher.
  
• Can ascend your +15 Pyromancy Flame to its stronger form, and the only one who can upgrade the Ascended Pyromancy Flame.
  
• Gifts you Fire Tempest Pyromancy after you killed the Bed of Chaos

Undead Parish
Next to the main church building is a stone bridge guarded by 3 Undead Soldiers that goes out towards the forest. Halfway through the bridge, you will hear metals clanging. Follow this path to a small structure. The old church has 3 floors, the top is a ruined temple, the middle floor has a bonfire and the lowest level is where Andre will be working.

• Can reinforce weapons using the appropriate Titanite.
  
• Can ascend +10 Normal weapons to Lightning weapons.
  
• Can ascend +10 Normal weapons to Crystal weapons if given the Crystal Ember
  
• Can ascend weapons using boss souls if the player has the correct materials.
  
• Can repair any damaged equipment for souls.
  
• Behind the blacksmith is a chest containing Hawk Ring.

New Londo Ruins
Exit the lift down from the Firelink Shrine and into the first open area with the ruins in the distance. Go to the far right and follow a set of broken stairs down towards the water. And on the left hand side at the bottom of the steps behind some bars is Rickert.

• Can ascend +5 Normal weapons to Magic weapons using Green Titanite Shard
  
• Can ascend +5 Magic weapons to +6 Magic weapons when given a Large Magic Ember

The Catacombs
At the end of the spiral staircase near the fourth Necromancer (who's guarding a switch), look below. You'll see an item glow. Drop down to it (don't roll, as you may overshoot and slip further down below and the fall damage might kill you). From the corpse, drop down to the broken wooden plank below, then enter the hole. After the cutscene, you can access Vamos' room from the Skeleton Wheel area.
