In the chapter "Homeless" you can find a man sitting on a bench reading a newspaper. Flying closer with Aiden's help, you'll see the title "Origami Killer: Seven victims and still no lead" - a reference to Quantic Dream's previous game, Heavy Rain.
Quantic Dream submitted a massive 2,000-page script to various gaming publications. These pages, however, turned out to be empty, and a hefty "brick" was intended simply to demonstrate the scope of Beyond. The inscription on the first page of the "masterpiece" read: "The script of the average movie takes 100 pages. 2,000 pages is no ordinary movie script.”
The game was developed by David Cage, creator of Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain. Most of the attention to the project was spurred on by his person.
Craftsmen in debug mode were able to take full control of the camera and see the naked model of the main character in the shower scenes. David Cage made a special statement in which he asked users not to vulgarize the image of the main character. In addition, he clarified, the model has nothing to do with the real figure of actress Ellen Page.
This is the second game in history to participate in the film festival. The first was L.A. noire.
The authors define the genre of the game as interactive drama action-adventure.
Hollywood actors William Dafoe and Ellen Page are considered to be the main faces of the game, fully "removed" with the help of motion capture. However, it is strange that almost nowhere is the name of another famous actor mentioned: Kadeem Harrison (Kadeem Harrison), who played in the series House M.D.
Ellen Page mentioned that the script for the game is 2,000 pages long.
This is the last game of the composer Normand Corbeil, who died on 01/25/2013. His work was completed by Lorne Balfe, who was responsible for the soundtrack to Assassin's Creed.
