This game is incredibly enjoyable. Even more so with a group of 3 friends. The gameplay is easy to get into, but deep enough to have a bit of strategy and finesse. The game has enjoyable ambiance and creepy levels. The art is well done. The dev is very passionate thus far and constantly trying to improve things. This game, overall, has been a very enjoyable experience!

A great idle game. It's got a good progression system with a lot of different ways to go. I've hardly scratched the surface of it and I've put this many hours in. Very solid idle game in my opinion!

I've definitely put my fair share of idle hours into this game. After this amount of time I'd say it's worth playing. Getting into the game can be a bit tough as you have to grind out some heroes with time gates to get some of the optimal formations. That being said, the game is solid, and fairly complete. They constantly add new updates, new events, and many new things. If you'd like to pay to get an advantage in the game that option is there, but you can earn darn near everything naturally. All in all: solid game.

If I'm not glitching to my death, disconnecting from an online game, or just having this game disable my microphone (which takes 20 minutes of troubleshooting to figure out exactly what was wrong and to solve the issue) this game is just an absolute dumpster fire. I've spent more time trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with it than actually playing it. Just ridiculous. If you wanna waste money, you honestly would get more out of just burning your money in a fire than paying for this garbage heap.

I'm giving this game a no-go on the recommendation because of the singleplayer alone. I have not touched the multiplayer so this review will not be applicable to that what-so-ever.

I've been playing the single player on and off in my free time, and it is INSANELY difficult. The story decks are so bad. But I have no cards to create my own deck even after spending points in the shop. So what am I supposed to do? The game gives you absolutely zero guidance on if you should do one versus the other. You would think the story decks would work just fine, but it sure seems like there is one specific hand that you're supposed to play for each mission, and if you don't draw it? Tough luck for you, lose and start over. Currently against Mai I'm getting my rear handed to me every match because she'll summon 3-4 harpies in one go, and feather duster away any spell I might possible have to try and salvage the match. There's no answer for her in Yugi's deck that I've drawn so far. But then again I seem to draw the same 10 cards every single attempt.

All in all I don't think this is a bad Yu-Gi-Oh game mechanically. But for wanting to play it for some nostalgia and enjoy some matches, I find myself losing 99% of matches and only winning when I get an insanely lucky hand to play against the opponent. Maybe I'm just bad; but I've looked up strategies to try and do better, and I can't apply them to the story deck...

The best way to sum this game up? An amazing and wild ride that'll capture you from the first moment all the way until the last.

Dragon Quest was a series I had always heard of, but never took interest in for one reason or another. Until now, that is. I've always been a fan of JRPG's (I own every Final Fantasy game imaginable and love every one of them, as well as other JRPG's) so I figured I would at least like this game for that aspect. Oh my is there so much more to it.

First off: The story.

The story was amazing from start to end (and I highly recommend finishing the game until the very, very end!) Light-hearted laughs, very serious twists and turns, cohesive plot that starts out mysterious but unravels into a very well laid series of events. DQ 11 takes you on a wild ride and immerses you in the story as if you're living it.

Second: The Mechanics.

The mechanics of this game are as simple as ever, but so darn effective. Classic turn based combat with a real time feel to it. Plenty of time to think about your moves. If you fancy it, you can even move your character around the battlefield! Every character felt like they had a time, place, and value to me. Some shone at crucial moments, while others had all around purpose. Any party is usable in my opinion, but some will present challenges that others don't.

Lastly: The graphics.

While graphics are never a "staple" in a game, this game is absolutely GORGEOUS. It does everything right, whether it's map design, character models, or effects/explosions. This game is a piece of living art.

I honestly have no complaints about this game. If you're looking for the next great JRPG to sink your teeth into, this game should give you, AT MINIMUM, 50 hours of enjoyment (I'd say 70 is the fastest for 100% completion). Square Enix has really outdone themselves with this game.

While I am going to recommend this game, I will say, don't expect good controls. The controls are awful. It does make the game somewhat fun because of wonky controls, but it also makes it frustrating to even go in a straight line. So play at your own risk if you want to complete a bunch of courses, you're going to have an extremely difficult time with it. But if you're in it to just have some fun, it's an absolute blast when you're just messing about.

Edit for Update as of 9-12-18

So the dev updated the game. Removed the leaderboard and leaderboard achievement, and even added a little bit of new content! Overall the game has a fun feel without worrying about leaderboards that were hacked. And the extra content is just fun little extra stuff. All in all a pretty solid update. I definitely can recommend this game as just a relaxing, simple clicker now!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as a simple clicker goes it's not a horrible game. Very generic, but it is somewhat entertaining if you like clicker games. The reason I'm going to say I don't recommend this game is because the leaderboard system is absolutely insane. Yes, it's a singleplayer clicker game, it's not some competitive FPS or BR game. But if we're going to have a leaderboard we should have an effective leaderboard system. In this game there are 4 leaderboards, all time, 1 day, 1 hour, and 30 minutes. There's an achievement tied to becoming the top person on the daily leaderboard. Now surely you think this leadboard would reset every day so that new people can come along and put their numbers in over the course of 24 hours. Instead the leaderboard is static, you're supposed to start the game fresh each attempt, and the numbers are only getting higher and higher. I'm also thinking the top people are cheating for their numbers because they're so insanely high compared to the following rankings.

The dev could clean this up with a couple easy changes.
1. Either add a new leaderboard that's daily, but resets so you have a chance at the achievement.
2. Alter the daily leaderboard so that it resets and people have chances at this achievement.
3. Remove that achievement altogether.

Yes, I'm griping about one achievement, and it's kinda silly. But for me, it detracts from the enjoyment this game otherwise has. It's not a bad game by any means, the dev just made a silly choice in my opinion.

This game is quite enjoyable. It can be a little bit grindy if you're new to it, but once you get the hang of a class or two; and develop some strategies you can work your way through the levels and difficulties. Events also add a little variety to the game and keep it fresh for playing at different times of year. On top of that the devs, in my opinion, listen fairly well and do their best to constantly update the game with things they want.

Overall I definitely recommend this game, it's very enjoyable!

I wish I could give this game a middle road review. Mechanics are great, gameplay is fun, world is fairly sized. It's got a good story as well. My problem is that every time I run into a chieftain, captain, elite, whatever; I don't run into one, I run into at least 4. I don't know if my game is bugged or what, but I get minimum 4 cutscenes everytime I find an enemy captain. It's making progression impossible because all I do is die to them. I don't think it's possible this early on to fight 4 captains. It's just too difficult without any items or skills.
