What a dark and brilliant visual novel. With its perfect price point and excellent quality (in terms of the backgrounds, actors faces, OST, and writing), this is sure to become a VN I highly recommend to any fans of the genre.

Shut Your Teeth is a kinetic visual novel about Russian tourists in Thailand. I would say that it is fairly close to the idea of magical realism.

Honestly, I find myself not wanting to say much. The strength of this visual novel has two sources. The first is its multifaceted characters that have both strong positive and negative qualities. The second is the novels ability to use subtext to tell the reader what has happened or what will happen. The author respects your intelligence and never feels the need to point out the obvious.

I managed to predict most things, but the primary, final twist surprised me entirely, while still making sense in the context of the overall story. Overall, this novel presents a compelling set of mysteries.

This little indie strategy gem deserves way more attention than it has received!

A very unique system of mechanics makes this game really stand out from other strategy games, even if its essentially unplayable on higher difficulties because the AI is too good... but honestly, that just stresses how unique this game is.

Give Radiis a chance. Its $6 on sale. There are plenty of map mods where people have put in hours of effort creating custom maps putting them on the Workshop. With mods this game has dozens of hours of content beyond the campaign (which is one of the few turn based strategy game campaigns I've actually finished).

The graphical style also really contributes to the feeling that you're playing a board game, which I really like.

I have 100%'d this game.
Favorite Games on Other Platforms
Hi!

I'd like to talk about my favorite games on non-Steam platforms.

In addition to gaming on PC, I've also played on PS2 (technically), XBox (original), Wii, 3DS, and Nintendo Switch. Though I haven't gamed on console very much; the Wii is easily my most used console. Between XBox (original) and Nintendo Switch, its hard for me to say, but its probably Switch at this point. Then 3DS, then PS2 (I got a used PS2 when I was a kid, but my family lost it almost immediately in a move, sadly).

On Wii, my favorite platform-exclusive games include the following:

Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort - Obvious classics. 10/10.

Smash Brawl - I know Brawl is often considered the weakest Smash game, but I really enjoyed the Subspace Emmisary as a kid. 8/10.

Go Vacation - An excellent minigame collection published by Bandai Namco. I have a lot of really fond memories about this game, so much so that I have thought of buying it for my Switch! 8/10.

Jeopardy - Really fun take on the TV show. 7/10.

Family Game Night 3 - Clue, Life, Yahtzee Hands Down, Twister, and Mouse Trap - though honestly, I only ever really played Clue or Life. 6.5/10.

On my 3DS, I haven't actually finished any games yet! But I mostly bought a 3DS because I managed to get a really good deal - the prices are crazy these days!

As for the Switch:

Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Really enjoyed this one! It was adorable throughout, and the powerups were interesting. I was not able to find someone to play coop though. 7.5/10.

Kirby's Dream Buffet - Got this mostly because of my enjoyment of Forgotten Land. $15 seems a bit much for 3 games though, and you have to own more than one Switch to play online coop. (Indeed, to do 3 or 4 player coop, you would be required to own 3 or 4 Switches). This makes Kirby's Dream Buffet very hard to recommend, as there isn't a lot going for it in single player. 5/10.
