The Iris Nebula, [www.google.com] also NGC 7023, is a bright reflection nebula that lies 1300ly away toward the constellation of Cepheus. Its bright blue portion spans six light-years and is created by light from the bright star SAO 19158 reflecting off of a dense patch of dark dust.
