I don't mean this in a negative way, but this game feels like it was designed by someone who is profoundly neurodivergent.

I can't believe this has only 65% positive reviews. I went in purely because I was a massive fan of the painkiller series and I know people can fly know their way around some fast brutal and bloody combat. I assumed there must be some big catch that I had to endure like terrible performance, glitches, or a horrible plot or something.

Nope. This game has a fairly well written, motion captured, and voiced story with an interesting art style, amazing visuals, good performance and exceptionally good horde shooting. These crybabies are literally whining that they don't like a bonus endgame to an rpg that already tells a complete story and lasts 30-40 hours between the main and side quests.

Strong 8/10 heavy recommend on sale


Side note: Wtf kind of dork sinks 130 hours into a game only to NOT recommend it? like, you hated it so much that you had to play it like your job for 3+ weeks?

Its really annoying how many characters are locked behind DLC, but to be fair by the time you max all the standard characters, youll be at least 50 hours into the game if not more which is not bad for a 7 dollar game let alone a 1.39 dollar game.

I wanted to like it....its just not good. The """humorous""" narration is so absurdly cringe and completely never ending.

Underrated masterpiece that has aged like fine wine. I'll save you some googling and just tell you to play on survival - normal, or survival - ranger if you want a challenge on a first playthrough.

To change FOV go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\4A Games\Metro 2033\<user-id>\user.cfg and search for FOV. It is in vertical, not horizontal like you are used to. Check the pcgamingwiki to find the exact file and the fov calculator. They also have a file to fix the mouse aiming issues.

Games like this are why I have trouble trusting steam reviews. This game looks amazing, has great satisfying combat with an intricate leveling system and AAA polish all for 16 bucks but the reviews are all just bashing the small flaws instead of what the core game is actually like. Yes it does have some flaws but whats here is solid and just because a game isn't a perfect masterpiece that lasts 1000hrs doesn't make it a bad game. Strong 7/10 recommend on sale.

I got this from humble bundle Years ago. I don't play many Japanese games and I assumed this was like sleeping dogs or some other GTA style game. Boy, that was not it. This is essentially a 2 season crime drama show with a little bit of fighting gameplay inbetween. I'd say this game is at least 70% cutscene and dialog if you're focusing on the main quests. Normally that would be a massive turn off for me, but the show is fairly well written and acted so I was perfectly content to sit back and watch it.

It is very Japanese culturally speaking, and the characters actions may not make a lot of sense to a western audience at times, but it is thoroughly entertaining nonetheless. Given the length and amount of content I'd recommend at full price.

Magic seems very underpowered.

Everyone remembered how great the graphics were that they forgot that the game was exceptionally mid.
