Great game, but it sucks that the game of the decade was released this early.

The MMO sections really fall flat on their face. In fact, I'll say they're quite awful. Their only saving grace is that you can speed through them pretty quickly. Most MMOs have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ open worlds that usually lead to dungeons that you do with a group. This game has super ♥♥♥♥♥♥ open worlds that lead to battles. These battles are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, in-depth, challenging experiences. There are a lot of different troop types you can recruit, they learn their own abilities and passives to use in battle. Crusaders that can resurrect fallen troops and buff their defenses. Spearmen that can form a spear wall and keep enemy units at bay. Mortars that can fire 5-round bursts over obstacles. Terrain, unit type, unit level, and finally your hero, all play an equal factor into the battle's outcome. A lot of times it can feel like you're participating in a battle from Lord of the Rings. Giant monsters that you can't even see the heads of will loom over the battlefield and crush the tiny troops beneath them. It's all so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, but you gotta slog through the worst parts of WoW to Nth degree to get to it. Again, at least you can speed through those parts pretty quickly.

Early Access Review
Flip that big-brain switch and crank that autism dial. This game heavily punishes you for playing like an idiot and you only have yourself to blame. Best of all, you don't know you've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything up until it's too late and you gotta tear down everything.

This game is uh... well it's kind of like er- did you ever play uhhhhhhhh
Dragon's Dogma is just Dragon's Dogma. It clearly draws some elements from other games but at the same time there are a lot of things here that are original. It's odd, in a mostly good way. There are somethings that might turn your head, but I think overall you'll enjoy it. Lots of big ass monster that you can climb on, interesting locales, diverse classes, crazy spells and combos. It's one of those games where someone will say something, or you'll watch a video and end up saying "wow I didn't know you could do that".

You'll have to delete your mods folder (nativePC) to make sure everything runs smoothly, which it does. With an AMD-FX6300 and a GTX970; Iceborne actually runs pretty damn well considering the graphical fidelity and new physics and effects.

The new biome and monsters are also amazing, Glavenus in particular, accurate as ♥♥♥♥ hitboxes are always great to see. The new hub, which is far more centralized than the old one, is worth the price of admission itself.

Don't go into Nioh expecting "more dark souls". I went into this game about 99% blind, only hearing that it was like dark souls but in Japan. Yeah you lock onto enemies and the difficulty is high, but those are hardly unique to dark souls. Nioh has a different structure all together, equipment, world design, level design, combat mechanics. If you like ball blistering, high speed combat, Nioh is just what you need.

Cheap but good thrills for friends. Not very fun by yourself.

Crimson Court is not for everyone, and it's a ball blisterer. This is a great DLC, but it should not be enabled on your first play through. It makes the games much, much more difficult.

Absolutely the BEST crpg there is. There is a lot of depth to this game in both mechanics and story. There is a whole host of classes (and subclasses) to choose from, and these are expanded on enormously with a mod called Call of the Wild! The game is as challenging as you want it to be with a lot settings for a custom difficulty. My only complaint is that some of the encounters aren't very diverse. There is a wide variety of enemies to fight, but you'll rarely fight a battle with more than a few archetypal enemies involved.
