The level of exploration in the game is next to none”
Spot on, that is a huge minus for me, S1 was so great in all aspects, with a lot of exploration, interaction, and conversation. A real adventure game true to its roots.

The flashbacks were one of the things I hated in ANF. Not only because of how they were handled especially regarding Clem but written as well. Though, there is one Javi flashback I genuinely enjoy. The domino one manages to be a flashback that I don't groan at while sitting through. Even though David is as annoying as ever, I really like the dad in this scene. His accepting manner is depressing but understandable and realistic; I really feel like ANF is missing characters like these.

Choices in this season is a whole thing to unbox, to be honest. The fact that literally everyone no matter the situation sided with Clementine whenever there was a dispute, showed the incompetence of the writers, and their inability to make Clem seem stupid enough to where we could actually not side with her.
Wait for a second, they did! She shot someone while trying to prove a stupid point and showed no emotional remorse for him! Then she had barely any consequences for her rash actions, and was back on the road in no time! But you know, that's the only way they could make us hate her or at least dislike her; and they still couldn't.
Characters are just blatantly stupid there's no question there.

As for the major characters, I don't even know who the deuteragonist is supposed to be in ANF. I assume they were going for Kate, but the season honestly just flip-flops around so I don't know what they even wanted to do. Gabe is talked about enough, so I feel like my opinion would just be that on repeat.

S3 was just an interactive movie with nothing else to do
Not gonna lie, I didn’t care for it. I loved season 1 and enjoyed 2, but this one completely missed the mark for me. It's definitely the weakest game in the series.

Bioshock plays like an award-winning movie. The time and thought put into every aspect of the game combine to make it awesome.

It's such a rich world despite it being in such an apocalyptic state. The attention to detail, like the box office signs being in both English and Cyrillic, really hone into the era it's set in and truly enhances the gameplay. The atmosphere is tangible. I get goosebumps when I hear spider splicers clinking around above me, their calls echoing through the leaking corridors. I hesitate in dark areas, sneak around corners; it's so easy to lose yourself in the world of Rapture. This quality makes it one of my uncontested favorites.

From the opening scene with the plane and the tower and everything I just kept saying that it was beautiful, it was and is stunning. The journey down to the first bathysphere and everything is so epic. Someone said this about Last Of Us but I feel it fits Bioshock also "It's like playing the through the best movie you've ever seen". The characters are dynamic and there is an amazing plot with amazing twists.

The first Bioshock is art. It's a masterpiece and will always have an enduring legacy in video games, like The Godfather or Citizen Kane do in film.

If you're a fan of player choice and actual outcomes, you're going to love how Season 2 ends up, because nearly all of your decisions so far actually impact the finale. Whereas in the first season I felt like many choices were futile.

A major factor in Season 1's story telling was the incredible suspension of disbelief that the writers managed to pull. Even though the group did some ridiculous things at some points, the characters always had proper motivations and believable logic behind their decisions, and as a result I was always so engrossed in the ride that it never struck me as odd.

In Season 2, lots of plot points and happenings seemed to happen just to create drama or enforce action. It turned me from an emotionally invested Lee in Season 1 to a cold, pragmatic Clementine in Season 2 - not because I got into the role of a hardened Clementine, but because everyone in the group was so irrational and stupid that it was all up to me to save the bunch of clowns from not dying miserable Telltale deaths.

I don't think it was as good as season 1, but still very good. Great gameplay, good (and annoying) characters, and it had me strongly emotionally invested. There was a moment I won't spoil to you, that brought me to tears just like THAT moment in season 1. Multiple actually.

Basically, it's a great story, and playing it is fun. The only downside I saw in the game was the limits of how much your choices really altered the story.

If you regularly play video games then you need to know what you are in for. It is an adventure game exclusively. No shooting (almost) or intense action, it mainly focuses on decisions using quick time events and dialogue options. It's extremely story-heavy, in fact, it is pretty much the only story using the aforementioned mechanics to drive it forward. You will hear people complain about how your choices don't matter but that isn't true. Your story will start and end the same way and you will follow the same general path but a lot of cool little things will change depending on your choices.

It's one of the few video games I've played where I've actually felt an emotional connection with the characters. I'd say it is definitely worth the 20 bucks!

Graphics are 10/10. The rest of the game is solid 4/10. In total, it's a 5/10, and here's why-

World Building: This was my biggest issue with this game, the world didn't fit the story or the atmosphere. The houses/buildings were copy/pasted generics with no back story or a sensible architecture to them, what I mean is in the entire game all the houses look pretty much the same, the same models for the tables/books/beds, etc. In the first game, there were rooms and sure there were some that were exactly like others but that made sense because it was a mental asylum, even then each room gave a back-story or background of the minds of the patients. The town, for example, showed a lot of dead people/animals, including a lot of hangings and torture, but failed to convey any backstory about those people because unlike Outlast 1, where patients were violently randomly killing each other, Outlast 2 operated on a set of rules, rules set by Knoth/Val, etc. In the first game, patients were doing their own things and you happen to run into them, like guys raping a dead corpse, etc, however in the second game the NPCs were simply kinda felt placed there for the player to encounter, for a town, it felt pretty empty. The farmers seemed placed in specific areas to hunt you, instead of going about their business, like those two farmers in the barn where you are supposed to climb up using the ladder. Like, why was Martha trolling the streets at night, why were people scared of her? From my understanding she received orders from Knoth on whom to kill, and if the devout people are following what Knoth is asking them to do, then why do they have to run away from Martha?

Characters: The characters senselessly uttered the same things over and over, the bible scripture, which was borderline word-salad. In the first game, it was interesting to hear the inmates and what they were saying, they all had different lines and gave some minor hints about their personality, and also their thought processes, you could tell they are real people, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in the head, however in the second game, the characters were just robotic, uttering the same senseless stuff over and over, it didn't help that they all uttered the same scripture which was simply made up by Red Barrel to sound religious, but wasn't.

The Logic Outlast 1, although some might say far-fetched, still presented a sort of logical story, it kinda made sense. Things in Outlast 2 just didn't make sense to me, if the tower is making me have hallucinations, then why are they so realistic? If they are not hallucinations, but rather some other mind-control thing then what happens during the time I am in those visions? Does the world simply stop, and if it doesn't what about other people? Are they experiencing these visions at the same time? And if they are, are they seeing the same thing as me? The tower convinced my character to see that Lynn is pregnant, but it convinced all the people that she is pregnant too, including her? I was under the impression the Tower simply amplified the inner feelings/emotions, and if that was the case shouldn't every person have a completely different view of the world? and if it is indeed amplifying or planting these visions, how come I can die in them?

Outlast 1 is the superior game of the two. Outlast 2 has an inferior story, there's a lot of trial and error to progress (ex.: go right. Die. Repeat. Go left. Progress. Rinse and repeat) so it is a bit repetitive. There's a handful of jumpscares if that interests you. The game is good-looking too. The school scenes are interesting. But you die so much to advance in the story that you numb out of the horror.
If they were horror movies, repetitiveness not included, I would rate Outlast 8/10 and Outlast 2 5/10.

I love the visuals, music and the fluid movement, though, and IMO it’s well worth playing. Just good to know what you’re getting into.

The RPG system is, in my opinion, unnecessary. I didn't feel that any of my choices made in the three categories made a big difference in my gameplay, and I didn't even reach any of the final choices in any category before I finished the game. If the category system had been replaced with hidden collectibles throughout the maps that improved different abilities, I feel that it would have been a much smoother experience. Ori doesn't lend itself to the customization aspects of an RPG, and each playthrough is going to feel the same regardless of what decisions you made for each category

Like its story, Ori's art style is beautiful. In my opinion, it is the game's biggest draw. As described by Moon Studios: "We tried to make every single screen in Ori look like a painting come to life while making sure that the controls are still pixel-perfect." I agree with them. The music drives many of the game's more tense moments forward and is sure to give you a rush anytime you hear it speed up from its usual pace.

I found Ori to be much more frustrating than Hollow Knight because of its poor combat (about 20% of the game!), awful checkpoint system, and one-hit-kill obstacles. You can get more abilities later on in the game but most of them are useless because you can finish the game with basic attacks.

It’s a great game, but to me, Hollow Knight edges it out as the best. Enjoyed them both very much but Hollow Knight’s lore, style, length, and varied worlds are unparalleled.

Firewatch is a type of game you finish in one sitting on a peaceful rainy day!

Firstly, the voice acting is soo amazing. The dialogues are very natural and the sharp script makes the whole game rise to a whole another level.

The graphics are lovely on ultra. The lighting is truly magical. With its fantastic art style, every frame of the game can look like wallpaper.

The story is debatable. People made their assumptions and theories. The sub-stories are more interesting than the story given in front of you. But I think it wasn't anything complicated and the ending was Authentic. It wasn't very satisfying for some people. But I think not everything in life happens like you want it to happen. But I do think the story should have been more fleshed out.

I liked this game. The game isn't very long. Grab this game on a sale. it's a great relaxing ride!

Thank you Remedy, Alan Wake has to be one of the best story-driven games I've ever played

I had this game in my library for a year but if I knew it was this good I wouldn't have waited so long. From the beginning, this story seems mysterious and gripping.

The gameplay is kind of generic but the incredibly well-written dialogues, characters, and atmosphere of Bright Falls make it a great thriller game.

This game is like reading good horror fiction. The soundtracks are also brilliant. Masterful storytelling. Well worth the price!

First Witcher game and the Debut title of CD Projekt Red.

With budget limitations and a low workforce, they managed to make a game that was a treat for the fans of the books. It was made with many terms in mind to make the world immersive.

Even though the gameplay and graphics are substandard, the story and world-building are beautiful! Every town seems like a lively place. Witcher lore and characters from the books are seen all over the game. The story is great and sets up the next games in the series.

It's a game with a great story and lore.

Batman Arkham games are considered one of the best superhero game series of all time. Now I know why.

From the very beginning of the game, you feel the thick gothic atmosphere. The dark and gloomy art style gives this game a unique look. Because of this art direction, It still looks great despite its age.

You get to see many famous Batman(DC) villains where all of them are very well acted in animation and voice acting.

The stealth gameplay gets challenging as the game goes on. The rhythmic fighting system is also very well done and fun.

The story is very engaging and interesting. Highly recommended!
