A very clear love letter to late-late 90's and early 2000's MMORPG titles, Atlyss definitely went beyond my expectations of what I thought was gentle nostalgia. The gameplay is smooth, and the game itself isn't horribly demanding like many new titles of the same genre. The loop so far does not feel old, and the interactions between NPCs is refreshing. Sometimes all you need is some good dialogue to read, and not a voice actor forcing themselves to fill the role. That being said, this game is clearly furry bait (as I've been told this game was made by an NSFW furry artist). Aside that fact, they've made an enjoyable game with an option to remove the suggestive bits so that it won't be ~too~ distracting for certain players. I'm eager to see where this goes and I plan to continue playing both on my own and with friends now and in the future.
