for the 7 years old game, this game is still solid nowdays.. sadly the campaign is short, less than 10 hours, i finish the story.. but the pros is , the multiplayer base ,still a lot of players online.. not to mention the downside that you cant use gamepad, nor flightstick (if there is any flight chapter at the game).. but overall buy it when at disc.

I'm very disappointed with this game. I played a lot of Star Wars games as a kid and teenager and I just wished some good game in the SW universe. I used to play a lot of Battlefront II classic from 2005 and Republic Commando and this BF looked really nice but that was all from this game...It looks nice. Old Battlefront barely had any story or graphics but I played it for hundreds of hours. There are so much features and modes they removed from the old games that I liked. 1. they removed boarding and unboarding on enemy ships (infiltration) 2. they removed Galaxy Conquest mode where you could move fleet across galaxy and conquer worlds 3. they nerfed Heroes, Heroes were big prize back then when you get it you destroy enemies easy and it felt rewarding, now it is really hard to get Hero and even if you get it it's much slower, weaker and you get slain fast, there is just no desire from me to grind for Hero. Just play with the trooper instead you get killed fast anyway 4. older games didn't have any skill ''Cards'' and we still loved it, here you again need to grind for Cards (???) 5. they removed huge maps where you could fly Starfighter and drive AT and put the fight in tight corridors 6. they removed the Starfighter mode where you need to destroy enemy battleship, why? 7. they sacrified everything good and added MOAR Graphics. I only somewhat enjoyed story mode with Iden Versio, Galactic Empire Inferno Squad Commander.

Game - 8/10 - Good graphics, interesting gameplay, your troopers actually become stronger with experience.
EA - 1/10 - half the servers are broken by cheaters - they can be immortal, they can kill everyone repeatedly, they can make the game infinite. Another half have high latency - for everyone, like they are running it on commodore. I am in the western Europe, I don't know how people in more remote locations are playing. And now, my account (made in 2013) got banned due to 'suspicious login activity', and an email asks me to change password but EA website does not respond to these requests...
