Balatro is one of the very few roguelike games I had really fun with, and this is coming from someone that absolutely despises and hates roguelike games with a burning passion.

It's a really fun, deck-builder style game where you must know the rules, similar to poker. You have to reach a certain bind in order to move onto the next one, and there are many cards that are provided to you and other challenges which provide a brutal but very fun experience. Highly recommend for anyone to try this game out, even if they're not a fan of roguelikes.

Balatro maybe has the biggest love hate relationship I ever had with a game.
I sooooo often closed it after a lost run in frustration telling myself it’s enough for today and screw it just too open it again 10minutes later and going again…

It’s dangerously addictive, Stockholm Syndrome the game.
You know it will probably hurt you when you start a new run but for the moments of joy when everything comes together it is all worth it in the end…

Went to the doctor's recently to check in on my acute liver cirrhosis. Had to give some blood for some labs, you know the deal. It took them 3 freakling minutes to draw this time. I get kinda squeamish when i get blood drawn so I usually just look away and take deep breaths for the 45 seconds it USUALLY takes. So after 2 and a half minutes they ask if I'm ok, I had gone pale white and was sweating bullets, and I think I was able to mumble out something about how I was gonna faint. So they stand me up to lay me out on the reclining doctor chair thing, and when I stood up I nailed 2 skillchecks in a row to keep myself from puking all over the floor. Once I laid back the danger of projectile vomiting mom's spaghetti onto my fresh ass sweater was over, but now in my state of 20% consciousness it took every single fibre of my being to not ♥♥♥♥ my pants in front of these poor nurses. I laid there for a few minutes while one of them fanned me with some newspaper, just repeating "thank you..." like 35 times. And when I fully came to, Charlie Kirk was dead.

Hit a wicked nasty Baron Mine naneinf that night, felt absolutely incredible. Highly recommended!
