Total Conversion Mods Wall of Fame

I love TCs that take a game and completely re-work it. Those mods are always free of charge and are works of art rather than something for profit. They make completely new games out of old games with new textures, items, quests, stories, mechanics, locations and other gameplay elements. Multiplayer and Singleplayer alike. Here I list the ones I played and recommend. Most of them are not available on Steam itself but they work with Steam games. I will be adding more as I play through them. I have quite a few TCs I keep my tabs on but those that haven't been released yet are not included here because I haven't played them and thus cannot say if they are worth playing.

It is a fun game. I wouldn't call it scary but it is definitely immersive and just fun to explore a derelict station, try to survive just like in any sci-fi movie of that sort. It is like playing Half-Life without shooting. This is an experience not a game really. You can touch things. Yes. Touch things. It also has dead space feel to it.

First thing I did is make a mess of my room.

Most important to it however is the addition of a good story. It feels alive despite the fact nobody is. You get to meet animated character unlike in any other game by Frictional Games i.e. Amnesia or Penumbra. It is really really cool and engaging and fun. I like the dialogue, voices and interacting with robots and dying humans. They should have even more interactions in their games because gameplay wise it is fun.
