So I haven't played in a little while and noticed the Temporal Ambassador mission is now removed from the Commander-level chain of missions and stuck onto endgame. Well that's fine I suppose but does this now make the Ambassador and Kamarag-class ships rather useless? I remember them both being tier-3. I was hoping to pick up a cruiser for my KDF character (I don't like jumping straight to t6 ships, I enjoy the progression) but I can't figure out any way of actually starting the mission at level 22. This time, this event, I've been doing a lot of Watching in the Sompek Arena and Kobayashi Maru. I wanted to be certain of what I'd been seeing in previous event TFO's. ...and I'm sure a lot of you have also noticed these over-the-top god-slayers that one-shot Iconian and Vaadwaur Dreadnoughts from across the map/arena while flying more like Vipers from BSG than Starships from ST. It's probably the mission I like the least, honestly. It's long and dull and melee absolutely sucks if you're not used to it. However, I also *like* it simply because it's the closest mission we have nowadays to an episode of Star Trek and not a MMO instance. I kind-of wish we could forget it after playing it so when we get to play it *again* as a different race it will still be interesting....
