Warp Item

Description
When activated, the Voideldren selects one of several advanced items to teleport directly into the world. This process requires a payment in fresh water, and the cost depends on the item’s base value and the user’s Intelligence stat.

Notes
- This ability is resource-intensive, consuming valuable water in exchange for high-tier gear.
- Intelligence reduces cost significantly, making it a strategic ability for high-INT builds.
- All summoned items are predefined and cannot be customized.
- Item appears in the nearest adjacent empty tile. If no space is available, the cast may fail.

Soul Flare

Soul Flare Ability Overview
Type: Activated on command
Energy Cost: 1000
Ancestral Energy Cost: 5 + current SoulFlare Phase per turn.
Cooldown: 300 turns
Duration: Indefinite until deactivated, zone changes or not enough Ancestral Energy)
Usable on World Map: No

Effects Upon Activation
When activated:
- Boosts all primary attributes (Strength, Agility, Toughness, Willpower, Ego, Intelligence) based on the Voideldren’s Ancestral Energy and the phase: 5% Max AE * SoulFlare Phase
- Increases movement speed by 25% for each SoulFlare Phase Phase
- Enables melee knockback on attacks: A knockback force is calculated as half the attacker's Strength modifier (minimum 1). If the defender fails a Strength saving throw, they are pushed backward. If the defender hits a wall, the wall may break and cause additional damage (10 HP). Non-wall solid blockers prevent knockback continuation.

Visual Effects
The ability user flashes gold depending on the current phase level, creating a pulsing aura effect that cycles every 60 frames.

Example
If a character has 100 maximum AE and is in **SoulFlare Phase 3**:
* Each core attribute gets +15% bonus (5% × 3).
* Movement speed increases by 75% (25% × 3).
* Knockback is applied with every melee attack.
* Total activation cost = 1000 energy + 8 AE per round (5 base + 3 phase).

Notes
At some point, the user may become powerful enough to keep this ability active indefinitely; if the user possesses sufficient Willpower and Ego to regenerate Ancestral Energy at a rate exceeding the ability's consumption, Soul Flare can be maintained perpetually.

Aqua-Resonant Synthesis
A Voideldren ability that transmutes ancestral energy and fresh water into advanced mechanical components. Highly effective for tinkerers, its efficiency increases with Level and Intelligence.

Effects Upon Activation
When cast, the user synthesizes a random set of tinkering bits. These are influenced by the character’s level. Fresh water is consumed in the process, with the cost depending on the user’s Intelligence.

    []Generates 3d6 bits using the character’s level.[]Consumes (Level × 10 × Intelligence modifier) drams of fresh water.[]Displays a popup confirming the cost and result.[]Fails if the user lacks sufficient water.

Example
If a level 5 Voideldren with moderate Intelligence activates this skill:
    []Base water cost = 5 × 10 = 50 drams[]After INT discount (e.g., 50%), final cost = 25 drams
  • Produces a randomized bundle of 3d6 tinkering bits

Notes
The bit generation scales dynamically with the character’s level.
Water cost reduction is influenced by Intelligence.
Ancestral Energy is only spent if the ability succeeds.
Intended for Voideldren characters focused on crafting and engineering progression.

Voidward Armor
A passive Voideldren ability that allows the user to instinctively shield themselves from harm by channeling ancestral energy. This defensive mechanism requires no activation and works silently in the background.

Ability Overview
Type: Passive
Energy Cost: 0
Ancestral Energy Cost: 0
Cooldown: None
Duration: Always active while the skill is possessed
Usable on World Map: Not applicable

Effect
When the skill is granted to a character, it enables the Voidward Armor protocol within their ancestral energy pool. While active:
    The user automatically ignores or reduces incoming damage depending on their Toughness. Toughness Bonus/2 damage ignored. No manual activation is required. The effect is tied to the skill's presence—removing the skill disables the armor.

Technical Behavior
The skill does not register events or consume resources directly.

Notes
Best used in synergy with other defensive or passive AE-based abilities.
Since it's passive and cost-free, it's ideal for Voideldren tanks and front-liners.

Energy Shield
A passive Voideldren ability that automatically generates an energy-based defense layer, absorbing certain types of incoming damage. It requires no activation and silently protects the user through their ancestral energy reservoir.

Effect
When this skill is acquired, it enables the Energy Shield functionality in the user's ancestral energy pool. While active:
    The shield absorbs damage types (likely physical, energy, psionic, or projectile). Absorption occurs automatically; the user sees damage reduction messages when triggered. The shield likely depletes or weakens as the ancestral energy is consumed.

Notes
This ability does not require manual casting.
Best paired with abilities that regenerate ancestral energy for sustained defense.
The effectiveness and absorption behavior depend on the AE pool’s internal implementation.

Energy Blades
A passive Voideldren ability that replaces the user’s unarmed attacks with energized blade constructs. These blades scale with Ancestral Energy and physical attributes, transforming the user's hands into deadly melee weapons.

Effect
Once this skill is acquired, it automatically replaces the user's hands with infused energy blades that deal physical damage.
  • Base damage starts at 1d2 and scales with Ancestral Energy Pool, Die, and Strength.
  • Blades are implemented as equipped hand-slot weapons.
  • The Ego stat increases penetration bonus (Ego / 2).
  • Whenever the player levels up, unequips an item, or begins an action, blade stats are recalculated.

Notes
This skill is ideal for Voideldren characters focused on melee combat with high Strength and Ego.
The actual melee weapon is an invisible construct rendered in the hand slot.
No manual activation is needed — effects apply instantly upon gaining the skill.
