🐞 Bug Fixes
Charged Surge now properly multiplies dice rolls with Ancestor's Fury beyond x2.
Fixed a long-standing issue with Command Crusader:
This skill now grants a new mutation, Command Crusader, which works similarly to Domination but is restricted to your own crusaders. It is nearly guaranteed to succeed, and its effect lasts indefinitely.
⚖️ Balance Changes
Aegis of the Forgotten now grants +10 Temperance (was +20).
👑 Patriarch Changes
Call Crusader now consumes your entire Ancestral Energy pool instead of costing half your hit points.
Crusader selection has been reworked with distinct roles and specialties:
- Radiant Templar – Balanced stats, Guardian, Luminous Veil, Light Manipulation.
- Mirrordain – Balanced stats, Zealot, Energy Blades, Temporal Fuge.
- Chronopater – Balanced stats, Patriarch, Energy Shield, Time Dilation.
- Immortal Crusader – Physical stats, Guardian, Voidward Armor, Elemental Resistances.
- Void Blade – Physical stats, Zealot, Energy Blades, Phantom Blades (Skilled).
- Esper Crusader – Mental stats, Patriarch, Psychic Awakening, Sunder Mind.
- Crypteon Templar – Mental stats, Cryptotech, Synaptic Concordance, Cathedra White Opal.
- Voidtek Praetorian – Balanced stats, Cryptotech, Synaptic Concordance, Phase-Adaptive Scope, Motorized Treads.
🌌 Lore & Mechanics
The Voideldren were forced to abandon their homeworld after attracting extradimensional predators when gathered in large numbers.
As a result, each summoned Crusader increases your Glimmer by 20.

Patriarch:
– New Heritage and Legacy System:
The way the Patriarch's "embrace" skills work has changed:
Before, using an embrace skill would automatically increase your stats.
Now, using an embrace skill has a chance to increase your stats, and that chance depends on your Legacy value.
How it works:
Legacy slowly grows over time and reflects your current potential to gain stat boosts.
Heritage is a permanent baseline—Legacy can never go below your Heritage.
In many cases, when you use Legacy (for example, through certain abilities), Legacy gets reset back to your Heritage level.
So the system now rewards building up your Legacy over time and using it strategically, instead of guaranteeing stat boosts every time.
- Elder’s Embrace: Scholar can now increase a new stat called Refinement.
However, Refinement currently has no effect — it is planned to be used by the Cryptotech class in future versions.
– Voidward Shield renamed to Voidward Legacy:
The skill Voidward Shield is now called Voidward Legacy.
Its effect has changed: now, when Voidward Armor activates (for example, by avoiding damage), there is a chance to increase your Legacy.
Balance:
- Divine Soulflare abiltiies now only increases physical attributes.
- Ancestral energy recharge has been reduced to balance its power.
Important: If you want to continue a savegame from a previous version without issues, you can use the "SkillGone" mod to remove all skills from this mod and then reacquire them safely.

Guardian new skills:
- Voidward armor: Elemental: +25 to all elemental resistances.
- Voidward armor: Reflective: damage reflection based on temperance. + 5 to Temperance.
- Voidward armor: Regenerative: Voidward Armor now restores health equal to the damage it absorbs*Temperance%. + 5 to Temperance.
- Voidward Shield: Voidward Armor now restores ancestral energy equal to the damage it absorbs*Temperance%. + 5 to Temperance.

Balance:

- Temperance is now modified by Willpower. Bonus.

New Dynamics:
Temperance – A new Guardian trait that passively reduces Ancestral Energy consumption, promoting sustained efficiency in prolonged engagements.
New Skills:
Zealot new skills:
- Soulcleansing Ritual: The Voideldren channels all ancestral energy in a sacred rite, purging all corruption from their body and spirit, restoring inner balance and clarity.
- Phantom Blades: The Phantom Blades skill line enables the Voideldreni to generate psychic weapons when unarmed, scaling in damage, accuracy, and special properties with each tier. As the skill progresses, the blades gain improved response time, armor penetration, and phase synergy. At the final level, the user can enter a phase state and perform undetectable melee attacks directly from that condition, spending 20 ancestral energy.
Guardian new skills:
- Echo Conservation: The Voideldreni’s presence resonates in harmony with ancestral flows, naturally minimizing energetic waste. Their connection to the Echo is so refined that all actions draw less from the ancestral well, granting them greater endurance without sacrifice. Temperance + 20;
- Echo Conservation - Energy Shield: By synchronizing the harmonic frequency of their energy shields with ancestral echoes, the Voideldreni reduces the upkeep and activation cost of protective barriers. Their shields shimmer with refined balance, requiring less ancestral energy to maintain full integrity. Now temperance energy reduction can be applied to energy shields. Temperance + 10;
New Items:
- Tesseract Reservoir: The Tesseract Reservoir is an ancient Voideldren containment vessel designed to store incomprehensible volumes of stasis-locked liquid within extradimensional space (6400 liquid can be stored here).
Items changes:
- Gloom Prism: Now uses the floating nearby slot. Glimmer - 40.
Balance changes:
- Revelation of the Elders: Each use now increases its water cost by an additional 1000 drams of water. Now it can be located in the common tree instead of the Cryptotech tree.
- Charged Surge: Power increased with Ego instead of Willpower. Ego bonus laso multiplied by number of turns charging. It costs 5 AE plus 2 AE each turn being charged.
- Synaptic genesis: When executed, in addition lose 5 to Intelligence, Strength and Willpower.
Life of Quality changes:
- Glimmer Modulation: Activating this ability now deducts 10 points from your maximum Ancestral Energy pool to decrease Glimmer by 10.
Bux fixes:
- Luminous veil not working when ancestral energy was too high.
