my mech's not equipping weapons

I just assembled a Soldat and tried to give him a list-compatible weapon but the card doesn't appear

The way I did it is you draft your mech and put it over the weapon you want equip then undraft your mech then do the average command like a normal pawn and it should equip it.

what weapons can the hound robto use? I didnt find a list of who cna use what...
