However, when testing I have found that - when using the vanilla config - zombies are much more resistant to headshots than they actually are in vanilla. In vanilla an unprotected zed will drop from a single headshot of any calibre except .22 and this is how I want it to remain.
With the mod loaded - and the value 0.5 (stated as vanilla default) in <Resistance_to_Headshot> - it takes two or more headshots from all handgun calibres to kill them, including .357. I tried reducing the resistance value, but then they started dropping from a single punch to the face instead, which I most definitely do NOT want.
Is there any way around this? I don't want to increase melee resistance so they tank more melee damage than normal, but at the same time I don't want them to drop instantly from a lucky fist punch to the face. Adding all guns as "Special_Headshot_Weapons" will work I guess, but it is an awkward way to do it. Is there any other way?
I note your suggestion but no promise, no ETA.
