I had to remove this mod. It made my armies invincible with just a few of those extended traits. It is too unbalanced and easy to get.

For what it counts I have toned down some of them with the Vampire Coast update, and removed the upkeep completely from the sea legs traits. But I have to note once again that traits stay the same for all difficulties and this mod is meant for very hard/legendary.

Playing through another campaign I'm liking what I'm seeing now!

The 'Pillar of Order' one - spend time in a region low public order - seems a little strange. Again I'd chop the upkeep reduction out of it. It's not possible to reduce the cost of public order buildings specifically, is it?

I especially like the Recruiter trait - you did very well with that. Useful, yet not overpowered, and it takes a long time to get (because my lords spend soo little time in recruiting stance :P)


The reason I harp on about so much about the upkeep reductions is because you can stack quite a lot of them for ridiculous purposes. Providing you keep one army (not difficult at all earlygame), there is no supply lines upkeep increase, and if your lord gets a trait to reduce upkeep (eg Lokhir -50% upkeep on Corsairs), some skills later you can get that to -80% or so, then you only need a teeeny tiiny bit to push that to -100% :D

Not that I don't like upkeep reductions on traits like Campaigner .... but getting a random -10% upkeep for trashing Skaven a couple of times seems a little silly :S

I might change those ones too especially the skaven one, but once you have 3-4 armies you don't notice much of a difference. Many thanks for the input :)

But the early turns are much more important than the later turns; a free army earlygame is much, much more important when every cent of cash counts; as opposed to Turn 100+ when you kind of stop caring about money :P

.... but those upkeep reductions are massively large. Some of them are good, like Campaigner and the Forced March one (though perhaps that could do with a nerf; vigour loss reduction, even Small, is a massive buff).

But then there are things like "Defeated tons of Skaven: among others -10% upkeep" which isn't neccessary.

Probably the worst part is the Sea Explorer trait though, because that applies to heroes and lords; and as you noted the upkeep applies to the lord's army as well. Stack four heroes, send them around at sea (it's not too hard to get the trait through normal gameplay!), and you now have -40% upkeep on all your units in that army. A bit riduculous.
