Man I'm trying other SRPGs and it just makes me want to play Those Who Rule instead lol. I cant stand the controls that are keyboard only in other games... let me use the mouse to move my characters come on.

Maybe its different on harder difficulties but I found the final chapter easier than some of the ones before it haha. The invincible guys in the previous snow chapter were more of a problem for me. And then that one chapter where your goal is to survive X turns and youre surrounded on all sides with constant reinforcements.... and can still get all chests! I think chapter 15 or whatever.
But yeah the deserter wasnt a problem I just killed Marcus with Abigail and he never even came close lol. The deadliest was actually a hammer knight who broke through the defenders
