How to get standard equipment to enchant

I have a decision to enchant gear but i don't know how to get the gear required to enchant.

It should be the armor and weapons that you smith yourself (the Search for a Smith decision).

yea i already figured it out, just that i don't have the monks and mystic DLC, i just hoped to still be able to do the gist without that one DLC.
