Description


I present to you mod for marking pawns! With it, you can tag any pawn for your needs!
The markers are designed in a miniature style, appearing crisp and unobtrusive against the overall game background. They are simple and informative, ensuring your screen stays clean without clutter from elaborate graphics

                                

The markers can include rules for automatically assigning tags to pawns. For example, by default, melee and ranged raiders will be marked with their respective icons, allowing you to quickly gather tactical information without the hassle of trying to identify what the raider is holding or having to sift through dozens of interface tabs

                                

You will also be able to instantly see whether the raider has taken GoJuice or any other drugs

                                

There is a built-in default set of markers automatically configured to tag raiders and allies who are relatives of your colonists, display a thermometer or snowflake icon when your colonist is in unsafe temperature conditions, mark sick pawns, pawns who have taken various drugs, and much more!

All you need to do to mark a pawn is find the button within the pawn’s information panel and select the desired icon.
You’ll find color and other settings there as well (always the very last icon)





The mod also includes an option to display a text tag under name. This setting can be adjusted in the same place as the rest of the pawn’s biography.

And yes, it also displayed on colonist bar

                                

Now it works on caravan forming dialog and slave trade dialog (1.6)

Q: Performance?
A: I’ve made sure it’s as lightweight as possible

Q: Pixel art?
A: Pixel art offers the advantage of crispness in small icons - after all, you don’t want blurry images, do you?

Q: I want more icons!
A: I’ll add more as I can. Meanwhile, you can easily add your own icons by placing them in the mod’s Textures/Marks folder and they’ll appear in the game automatically

Q: I want more conditions for auto-assignment.
A: Feel free to suggest them in the comments! ;)

Q: How to hide title under name?
A: Select cross in colors menu

Q: What the blue-reddish icon color?
A: Adaptive color. Based on pawns name color: blue for ally, red for hostile, etc

I'm happy to see that you are using the functionality of Float Sub-Menus. When using it by including the DLL with your mod, please do add kathanon.FloatSubMenu to the loadAfter element of your About.xml.

Because of how the loading of DLLs work, if anyone else uses a newer version of the DLL than you do, and your mod is loaded first, then your version of the DLL will override theirs. The only way to avoid this is to use dependencies instead, but adding the loadAfter entry will at least fix it when at least one of the other involved mods uses a dependency for Float Sub-Menus.

This of course also applies to Nice Bill Tab and any other mods you have that include the Float Sub-Menus DLL.

лучший в колонии работает не корректно: у пешки без страсти к горному делу 10, значок не отображается, у пешки горное дело 9 но страсть 2лвл - отображается якобы у этой пешки лучшее в колонии горное дело, хотя сухие цифры говорят обратное

Мод очень крутой, но не хватает в фильтрах функции "НЕ", сейчас только И/ИЛИ, и инвертирвование, но в случае с навыками инвертирование делает не не а худший/лушчий, что подразумевает вообще другую логику и долгоиграющий фильтр для большой колонии сложно/невозможно сделать

Would it be possible to make it so that enemy tags don't interlap with prisoners? :) As it stands, if your captured prisoner is of an enemy faction, they'll stay tagged with enemy tags AND prisoner tags, and it'd be helpful to have the two categories completely separated!

Secondly, LOVE the mod, absolute A++ and very useful, thank you for all your hard work!

I really wanted to try this mod out but I had to freeze my save so it would not break. Is there anyway to make this work with 1.4? I tried to load it in and I could not get the icon to appear in the pawn's gizmo stuff.

colonist bar changes don't work with the Colony Groups mod. The in-world changes work fine.

Great and indeed useful mod, but since i added many of my own icons as marks i notices that i can't reach the uppermost in the selection window... could we either get a scroll bar or a variable for columns for the selection window? (or both?)
